for some reason pawns really dont like walking over small streams, even though they don't penalize movement by much, but they will walk a long distance just to not cross a single tile of small stream

Using this mod overwrites the shallow moving water texture from "Clean Textures" just should I should let anyone know who is also having this issue.

Do the streams work with the VE trees that require water with a certain radius? The streams would make a good irrigation ditch if so.

here's an idea: built rivers accelerate growth (irrigation). Just a thought!

@Jigsaw If you use VFE Medieval for your low tech runs you should be able to fill it in with the new moat mechanics added by that, I'm guessing.

I haven't used a moisture pump in years. There are plenty of terraforming or terrain edit mods out there that will remove shallow water with varying difficulty and results. I'm probably subscribed to 4 and swap them depending on what I want for that game. Some are quite small with minimal impact and in game effort. Others are very complex for altering all types of terrain into all other types of terrain using various materials and added crafting tables for them. It depends if you just want to cover over this one little problem or have full flexibility in altering terrain and if you want to ignore game balance for easy base building or keep some challenge in the game.

@jigsaw717 There is a primitive moisture pump mod you may want to look into, to pair with this.

Does the stream count as moving water for a water mills

making a moisture pump a requirement for removing streams is gonna prevent this for use in tribal/medieval games, or at least making it quite punishing if you make a mistake, i suggest making blueprint to 'fill' in the stream that costs maybe 200 work? which just turns either pulls up the tile or turns it into mud/soil?
