Unfortunately, the mod seems to have a conflicting issue with Mixu's Unlocker, causing a black screen after loading up either a Vortex or ME campaign.

Question, do you have a submod or intend to create one where this mod and landmarks of the old world is combined into one? I think they are both start pos mods right?

I see. I may have to pick up my modding mantle again and see if I can help look into it. The good news is most of this game's modding is table work, which is WAY easier for me than other mods I have played with.

The problem with missing bonus starting units occurs even on vanilla game+ this mod, just tested. So the missing units problem is not something related to conflicting with other mods.

Hey there, so, I don't know if you intend on fixing the starting faction unique units, but it seems like the player is the only one affected by this bug:
You have no bonus starting units with this mod, you are left completely vulnerable to your first quest enemy, and with certain factions, will assuredly lose your LL turn 1.

the different LL still miss their additional starting units in the vortex campaign and only when I use this mod ( and strangely the other more slots mods I have tried)

I have used this mod over others because the older versions didn´t unlock all the build slots at once. Unfortunately this did just that for me now. Also as a sidenote this removes all the special units for the LL in the Vortex Campaign

It won't work with any faction unlocker because slot mods and unlockers both have to edit the same identical files to work. So either you have to have use a slot mod that REQUIRES a specific unlocker or don't use an unlocker.

i dont get why this doesnt work for me....i tried to put it in the front my mod page...it doesnt work...i put it at the end.....it doesnt work....i tried to put it after mixu mods...it doesnt work.....i tried a new game it doesnt work....i dont know what i am doing wrong..

@Casstiel I tested it and I don't think the slots work, they don't show up and i can't recruit more buildings i think.

The steps to follow: 1. Copy Mixu's !!startpos_helper.pack to data folder. 2. Run Dave (edit start_pos_region and campaign_building_chain_slot_unlocks, apply Mixu's commands from file, export to binary). 3. Run Bob 4. Edit .pack in RPFM. 4. Remove !!startpos_helper.pack from data folder.

One caveat, make sure you heed Mixu's warning to only apply 400-500 update commands at a time to ensure that they're all successfully applied. I also moved all my mod .pack files out of my data folder to make sure I had a clean build, then moved them back afterwards.

Casstiel, If you want to make a Mixu Unlocker compatible version, you'll have to follow his instructions for creating submods (there's a Github link on the Unlocker page, which you need to access to download a .rar containing the file's you'll need). I built one last night and it works.
Note you will need to remove unecessary data from your startpos submod, leaving only the startpos and campaign_building_chain_slot_unlocks table. Load your submod before Unlocker.

Tested it. The game will load to main menu, but that's about it. Campaign loads, but goes to black screen (not frozen).
