Updated the tag, let me know if something's broken.

Lucky, does that means this works on 1.4 for sure?

Im assuming this doesn't really need updating, just needs a 1.4 tag.

They should just require the Machining research, some steel and components.
Richard Mc Nutbuster 5 Sep, 2021 @ 10:18am
what do these require to make?
ShiningKakera  [author] 2 Aug, 2021 @ 5:19pm
Whoops I did a big dumb, these are supposed to be available after you research Machining, but I forgot to say that so they defaulted to Bionics, when they're SIGNIFICANTLY less useful. I'll be patching that in a sec.

I'll look at how that mod does it and see if integrating that behavior would be possible. It looks like the mod you're talking about just supports body part removal.

There's an emergency surgery mod that lets you do surgeries without medicine, at the cost of trauma. I haven't tried it yet, but seems like it'd go quite well with this mod.

Cut the skill requirements and install time down a little to be reasonably faster than their equivalent organ transplant.
ShiningKakera  [author] 28 Jul, 2021 @ 4:55pm
Nah you right. On second glance I probably should at least make these a little faster and easier to install. That having been said... you can't set a surgery to work without medicine, you probably shouldn't be having colonists under 8 medical skill doing open heart surgery, and if you can't get one of these in in the same time you would've been able to put the actual organ in then you probably were never gonna save that colonist in the first place.

*ponders about the time it takes to install, would be useful if it takes like 1 secound to install/without meds needed *lol I know, emergency
