That is not something I can do unfortunately. I am just changing a couple numbers in the quite easy to read code. I would not know how to even begin to change something like that, sorry.
It is a cool idea though. Would make fights cooler.

No Only makes the systems that you slot into your processing slots give more turrets. Does not touch NPCs.

I think its a cool concept. I personally want to have 1 ship as opposed to a fleet of them and this makes that more viable

That is true. These are more cheat mods than anything. I personally like to have the 2x one for more dakka and to use only one ship for everything. I just find it fun in my own single-player galaxy =)

@Resnuses, i made the code work. you don't need a full copy of the script, just a copy of the function you want to edit.

All systems that should be affected by this mod is not being multiplied by 4.
So i'm in doubt of when and where this mod should work. I have a:
"Turret Control Subsystem AI-TCS-3" that is available on the "Equipment Dock":
For not permanent installation, adds: +1 arbitrary Turret Slot. Only here should be 4, no???

Because in your code, "getNumTurrets" and "getNumBonusTurrets" multiply the final value by 4, but i'm afraid that your code is not being executed. However i can only guess.

Doesnt seem to increase the rates of the rift systems that drop, like the combat aegis, they are still only giving like 2 turrets at rare

Tried it on my server, server says it still needs to be updated to newer version, and it shuts down the server, any idea? Was working fine before the dlc update today

It has already been updated to the latest version. It may still have to download to your machine. It is fine to play it outdated though, as nothing really changed in the files that i have modified.

Everything if fine with me. It may be one of your other mods that are effecting it. This one only changes some existing values in a file. It does not really add anything.

When I load this mod, no turrets exist in any location in the game, all the stores are just empty. Any ideas?

It only works on you. To my knowledge, the enemy does not have subsystems, so they would not benefit from this.

As a side note, can I request adding defensive turrets to XSTN-3? It kinda feels like the devs forgot about the XSTN modules when they added defensive turrets.

Should be fixed. It was only a display issue. The auto turrets were always the correct number. I just forgot to change the description in the system file itself.

Just a note, this mod doesn't seem to affect the auto-turret slots of the XSTN upgrades. My XSTN-3 has 40 armed turrets and still 6 auto-turrets. It seems like the regular TCS works as normal.

This one the 4x one and 8x one are up to date. I have versions of x2 and x4 for 1.3.8 and below, so that anyone who doesn't want to upgrade to 2.0 will be able to use them, though they may be in the cast minority.

Just curious, does this also make the AI have 4x the amount of turrets?

Torpedoes seem like a let down as they get shot down instantly so I'm wondering if that would be why lol

@Tiberius Maybe i can help. We have our Server hosted by Nitrado. In our filesystem there are two paths in which mod data lies. .../avorion/galaxies/galaxyname/workshop/content/445220/2559722572 and .../avorion/workshop/content/445220/2559722572. First i changed the mod compatibility in the modinfo.lua in the galaxy folder one. This didnt change anything and the server still wouldnt start. Then i found the other folder and changed it there too. Now i dont get the error message which Tiberius got any more. And the Server runs fine with the mod enabled

I'll be honest, I am not sure what is going on. The version requirement that I have on file is correct. It should not matter anyways, as the only thing I had to do was change the version that is supported. It should be fine to use this mod even if it is out of date. Forcing it on should be fine.

Not sure if you did it yet, but there was an update for this mod that you should have downloaded. That should fix the issue.
