The containers are weak generators coupled with a battery, branded as a product of "ABB", which has a similar "Containerized ESS for ships" battery.
I'm planning on revising that project down the road aswell, as I've learned a lot since I created that container. The mass of the container is ~3000 mass units, and you can download it here:

It's a design fault of the ship. It can be fixed using another pivot, but I'm planning on revising/updating this ship later down the road.
Sorry for the inconvenience!
Glad I could help!
Thank you so much
There is a Throttle Cut-Off toggle button right next to the throttle gague and helm. You have to deacivate it. Then, and only then will W and S have an effect on the motor.
Thank you for the recommendation! If I have the time, which unfortunately I currently don't, I'll probably modify this vessel and add a sink button, aswell as the option to disable all the bilge pumps.
The top speed without any extra weight at calm sea should be ~17kts.
Amazing ship btw! Good for MP
You still don't produce enough charge to power your electric motor, for that you might need 3-4 engines and then I'd have to re calculate the gearing but i you want i can try and pursue that and report my findings.
I built an electric ship with dual electric motors and i found 3000 to be enough electrical charge for that. So for your ship i estimate 1700-2000 as what you need which is entirely possible in your engine room.
Thank you very much for the extensive testing and the feedback. I really appreciat the effort you've made to make this vessel better. I've more-or-less "temporarily" changed most of the problems based on your recommendations. Take note that as I don't have that much free time, I won't be able to work on this "project" a lot, so future changes may come late.
I am still very thankful for your in-depth analysis of the vessel and I would be overjoyed if you decide to stick around and provide me with more feedback based on your observations!
physics flooders arent a cure all so they need to be used carefully but in those spots i got 10 fps bringing it from 47 to 62 at creative dock.
Fuel consumption is only 2.4L/s total. much better than your stock 984 charge at 16.92rps at 10.4L/s
Also on another note your navlights are illegal, your speedometer is in m/s not knots, you have room for lag optimizations,
HOWEVER, do not take this as me saying your ship is trash. It's functionally usable, has the highest cargo capacity i've ever seen, works fantastic, easy to drive, and your engine room is great.
I'm glad you like it, thank you!
Thank you for pointing out the mistake.
Vessel is now updated --> Check the changelog.
