Cool, thanks! I wanted the vanilla scaling but infinite and now that wealth can scale infinitely this was both the perfect new addition and the best way to implement it. Thanks! ♥

@BuGGaTon That's a great question! You are correct. The uncapped rate is the same as the final rate between the last two points.

On the Uncapped Wealth Curve what option have you gone for?

Between 14k-400k every $160 s.wealth is worth 1 raid point
Between 400k-700k every $250 s.wealth is worth 1 raid point
Between 700k-1m every $500 s.wealth is worth 1 raid point

Does uncapping leave it at the final rate of $500 per point or does it make adjustments?

@Lucifer This mod does not affect raid frequency. Either you're just getting unlucky or it's caused by a different mod.

Okay so the mod is great and all, but when I have it I get constant raids. Like a raid every day that can range from 5000p up to 25000p and its really hard to actually do anything when I constantly have to battle raiders. Not sure why this would happen or if it's intended. I currently got a raid consisting of 368 pawns from a Anomaly DLC cult.

@Lucifer Raid points are multiplied by your threat scale, yes. That is how it works in vanilla and the mod doesn't change that. In vanilla, there is a 10k cap that is applied near the end of the calculation. The mod has a setting to remove that cap or change the cap to whatever you want. So yes, if you are playing at 100% threat scale and you're getting 10k point raids, changing the threat scale to 200% would then get you 20k point raids, assuming you have removed the vanilla cap or increased it to 20k or higher in the mod settings.

Does this mod multiply the raids threat points my desired threat scale? Soo 200% would make a 10000p raid 20000p? or does it uncap it up to 20000? where 100% is vannilla.

@Zuada I have created the option but I haven't published it yet as I haven't yet had the chance to test it in a real playthrough. @Power of Nature yes I believe wealth only factors into raid points up to a certain amount of wealth, after which further wealth is not counted. That is vanilla, but I suppose I could add an option to remove that wealth cap as well, so that wealth accumulation will always increase raid points forever. I'll add it to my list of things to do.

Hi there, about the threat scale calculation, I may have understood what that modder meant to say. Basically there's a soft cap on wealth factor in raid point calculation, so after a certain point wealth has very little effect on raid point. My late game colony has almost 30M wealth, and raid point is 'only' around 32000. I tried to increase wealth with devmode, and 500k gold only increased raid point by a few point XD
So in order to get substantially increasing difficulty late game, the threat scale multiplier has to be ramped up a lot more, but it's also not that easy, as ramping up the scale also increase raid point to a ridiculous amount. So it's all vanilla limitation I guess..

@Power of Nature I'm not aware of any change to threat point calculation. As far as I'm aware, 500% has always been a 5x modifier? The mod only replaces the threat points cap of 10,000. But I'm no modding expert, and I'd be curious to know more details about this potential flaw, if you have them.

@Stemel It affects most, if not all, events that use threat points for scaling. Heat waves do not use threat points.

Thanks for the great work. I didnt want to try this mod in 1.4 for performance issue. But since 1.5 has done well on optimization, I'll try it with a reasonable cap.

Also your other mod Visible Raid seems unnecessary for I can see the current raid point on vanilla dev mode.

I think your Visible Raid Point mod is compatible. I was testing and it doesn't cap at 10000 and seems accurate to the amount of raiders.

@Kara42 The incompatibility is in the threat point breakdown feature. If raid points are uncapped, the mod will not take that into consideration and still say they are capped when they are not.

I did, but that description might be outdated, as are the mods linked on github apparently (at least they only are for up to 1.3 judging from the files).

Is this mod in the 1.4 version still incompatible with the visible raid points mod?
I installed both and spawned a few test raids (with the call raid option of vanilla expanded achievments not with dev mode) and I got raids displayed as 22500 points and the number of enemies seemed to match that.

Threat scale is a direct multiplier on the number of raid points assigned for a raid or other similar event (mechanoid ship, insect infestation, etc). Raid points are tallied from a combination of your number of pawns and wealth, multiplied by the set threat scale, and is used to determine the size of the incoming raid/event.

Hello, can you please add a separate option to remove the threat point capping from wealth? because it caps at 4200 raid points at 1M wealth. And just uncapping doesnt increase the threat that much if the colony is too wealthy

I am currently playing with the threat cap removed, and the raids are something like 600 pawn raids or 500 insect hive infestations at a time, but when it comes to manhunter packs, they always cap at 100 megasloths, and will never be greater than that size or animal type.

Also, the rewards do not really scale well with the threat size, but that is probably not what this mod is attempting to do. I think the reward for accepting a 500 hive infestation was 400 gold. Of course, I did get 50,000 insect jelly, but it would be nice if the quest rewards matched the threat points used.

@arkheart You cannot change the threat scale outside of a save file because every save file has its own threat scale and there is no global setting for it. As for the settings not persisting, I have tried several different ways to get that to happen but my changes are persisting every time (as long as I save the game after I make changes). Can you provide the exact steps you used to reproduce that problem?

Not sure if this a bug or intended behaviour, but I cannot assign threat scale in main menu, only threat cap. Though I can assign threat scale, when I open mod settings ingame, threat scale do not always persists between sessions. I set 150 threat scale once and it was saved, but when I try to change that number, changes not seem to persist

Raid a city from the City mods gaining like over 300000 silver and 300000 gold with so much ressources they couldn't fit in 6 12x12 storage (with a more stack per stack mod)
