The mod does not change torch placement behavior, only breaking. I suspect it's one of Fargos's mods doing this, as there have been reports of that happening with it.
add a consumable item (or something like that) that when used fixes all the torches in the world (useful for those who didn't have the mod before and have already gone to hardmode, or for those who are playing vanilla but don't want to waste time changing all the torches)
The recent update v1.0.4, by popular demand, added toggles for Demon and Bone Torches to be converted by Reverse Torch Swap
- Start with biome swap already unlocked (it really gets old)
- Add coral torch to available varians (when placing underwater)
that puts a lot out of the way of avoiding placing torches altogether in prehardmode so you dont have to go through a monumental amount of work manually picking up and replacing every single torch later in the game
I decided against making torches "convertible" i.e. by corruption or by clentaminating, as it is 1. more complicated and 2. will disrupt people's builds. The downside is that any biome spread from that "V" will not convert torches, since it only impacts the torches already present before the "V" was generated.
