@Macallan Yes, that's right. If you use RFPM you should find what you're looking for quickly if you open this mod.

can you help me reenable walls tier 4? which fields to edit?
piercebuster  [author] 19 Jun, 2022 @ 12:43pm
Not by me.

hello thx for the mod, is there a reverse mod? aka allow walls to be built in settlements lvl 4 (MAZZ MOD)
piercebuster  [author] 14 Oct, 2021 @ 10:35am
@Dom probably both: AI should see more opportunities to attack, and the growth nerf was a substantial change
Dom 14 Oct, 2021 @ 8:32am
I was wondering if the lack of the wall attribute makes the AI attack more often, because it knows walls haven't been built even though the Wall building is constructed?
And if it does attack more often, that would mean you would get les tier 3 settlements around the map?
I was wondering If the reason I see less AI tier 3 settlements is because of this, or just because growth was nerfed by CA a while ago and I haven't played much since...

@piercebuster Sorry, I'm stupid and make confusing mistakes sometimes.

And also that's completely fine, I might as well thought I'd ask.

@Airborne Seals

I think you mean OvN, not SFO.

I'm not going to do that. Like the 3 exceptions I listed above, I think most users using that submod would prefer it to have walls. You may want to edit my mod for personal use to accomplish that.
Airborne Seals 28 Aug, 2021 @ 7:54am
With the new "Big Moot" submod by SFO, it makes the moot have walls even with this mod, would it be possible to remove those?

@cybvep
Load order for this mod doesn't matter. Have fun!
cybvep 22 Aug, 2021 @ 11:44am
Wait, this works with Tailored Faction Garrisons AND Reporting For Duty? Dude, that's uberly awesome. Definitely a must-have combination for my next campaign :). Does the load order matter in this case?

More GCCM maps? Sign me up!
RatboyW 19 Aug, 2021 @ 2:51pm
Very happy to see a new version of this, thanks Pierce!
piercebuster  [author] 16 Aug, 2021 @ 7:45pm
I don't know how difficult that would be. I don't even know if it's possible, though I expect it is.
GeT_SwErVeD 16 Aug, 2021 @ 7:28pm
How difficult would it be to have this only affect minor settlements that have a GCCM map? I definitely want to see those maps if they are available, but otherwise I'd still like to be able to build walls.
piercebuster  [author] 2 Aug, 2021 @ 6:57pm
OK! I didn't expect to make my decision so soon but feedback heard loud and clear. I'll keep the two mods separate as they are.

Happy sieging, everyone.

@sardorim
GCCM still works, except on the Skeggi map.
Xenos 2 Aug, 2021 @ 9:31am
would prefer for it to remain stand-alone. Better compatibility this way.

Gcgm has always been in beta
Sardorim 2 Aug, 2021 @ 6:06am
I'll be using this once GCCM is out of Beta for the current patch. I always did wish to see more of those pretty GCCM maps.
cybvep 2 Aug, 2021 @ 4:50am
Oh yeah, stronger garrisons in minor settlements would be great. Especially tier 3 ones.
MichaelGFI 2 Aug, 2021 @ 4:17am
While I agree that sieges suck, the walls in minor settlements at the very least often buy the player a turn to react before the AI launches the attack, and that can be crucial (especially in the early game on VH or L difficulty).

I would, however, trade walls in minor settlements for extra garrison. True, your garrison mod helps, but I would need even more of a garrison in minor settlements to willingly give up walls.
Flying Fox 2 Aug, 2021 @ 2:36am
Agreed with the other commenters, best to not include it in your better sieges mod. Very good as a standalone mod, this.
Serj Targarien 2 Aug, 2021 @ 12:56am
If there's no downside to it, I'd prefer this being kept as a separate mod. Player choice is always good. Otherwise, great job on your mods. I'm using lots of them and they work as a charm.

Thanks for updating
cybvep 1 Aug, 2021 @ 11:31pm
I've been using the OG mod since forever. Thank you for updating it.

Sieges are terrible in WH2, so making them less common is a way of preserving my sanity.
RexJayden 1 Aug, 2021 @ 10:38pm
Neat mod idea but I use Better Sieges and I would prefer to have most of my cities have walls. :critical:
Rachel L 1 Aug, 2021 @ 8:25pm
I can quickly say that no, you should not include it in the better sieges mod because this is a very personal choice. Some people like walls on small settlements. Besides, with the garrisson building, you get enough units to put on the walls.
