try to remove the icon colors mod on your server.. I heard this may be one of the conflicts.

Since the update and DLC release on 8/31 this mod is not working on our server. The units do not function and half the data in the K mene is missing. I don't know if you are supporting this anymore. Would be great if it could be fixed as we are in the middle of a game on a custom server and BnR is in being used extensively. :steamfacepalm:

What are you talking about. The Description says clearly where the original mod was from. I am not the original mod author of this mod. I made a slight alteration to the mod for use in an old Ganymede server I run. I am not the original author of main mod and all credit goes to that author.

This mod was created for an old Ganymede server I was running. I no longer run that server but this mod remains as there are still people that use it for other reasons.

I'm simply curious, what's the difference between this and the original mod?
You simply adapted it to work with the Heavy Industry DLC and changed the 'parts list' to build it?
Does it otherwise function exactly like the original?

Fizzy ive noticed how you lay that out.. if at times anyone had admin rights and is in your faction and they have that first box in the admin checked ... bars will build it all.. if not it will do an initial wield check for every block there

You really need to split this mod into multiple mods, or at very least multiple blocks. It tries to do too much in one blob, and the end result is a block that is as close to a cheat mod as you can get without being an actual cheat mod.

Also, there are bizarre bugs that pop up from time to time. You apparently didn't program the mod to be dependent on power for its initial check, so what ends up happening is you can run the block at nearly full efficiency with essentially no power input - just set up a timer block to turn the power on and off every 4 or 5 seconds. Also related to the power settings, turning on the block will consume full power even when it is idle, and takes power in priority over other blocks.

The default ranges and costs are also just wildly unbalanced, which - in combination with the ability perform uncounterable, out-of-LOS hacks - is what makes it a cheat mod.

We used it on a dedicated server and it never welded things up without being connected to a conveyor. So not sure what your issue is, but it might be limited to you.

I have tried many versions of this Build and Repair and they seem to all have the same serious exploit where you can just place the unit on a grid with no conveyor pipes connected to it and it will weld everything up for free no components needed, the exploit is in the original mod too which does not surprise me as all other versions of this are copies of the broken mod from the original author, not very good on a server, any chance of a fix or anyone know how to get a version of this fixed?

@Palad1n, here and I thought I was the only one losing tires. I went on a nice relaxing voyage through space. When I returned home to my Earth Station it looked like I was living in the ghetto. Every single vehicle was missing tires! My 8 wheeled mobile troop transport was missing every tire from the right side! But, I got even with them nanites, I dropped the jack and hit the add wheel button on all my vehicles and just sat by while I watched them put the wheels back 😆.

For years, I have had issues with these Builds and Repair units that randomly "eats" a tire off my haulers. I will sometimes walk away for a 20 min break, come back, and 1 tire is just gone.

Sometimes after I log out and come back the next day, multiple tires are just "missing". This only happens when I have build and repair systems active. It's so random!

Does anyone know how to fix this issue? It's been ongoing for years =(
