@DerRitter I'll take a look, but I've never noticed this issue anywhere and am not sure what could cause it... I've never seen "partial" T-posing before, its always been all or nothing

I am using alot of mods, lol. But your "Disciplined X" mods are the only ones modifying animations in my list.

I have been getting T-posing models is some battles today. I have seen it with Empire Spearmen and Dreadspears that were fleeing.

@Lion Sin If I understand correctly, your running into the issue where animations can only be given to units with identical skeletons (I.E, you can give a state trooper the same animation as a peasant bowman). However, for SOME REASON, elves have different skeletons from Human models. I don't know WHY- but that has caused me a lot of annoyance as well. I'm not sure how to solve the problem without messing with unit skeletons... which is possible but I have no idea how to do it :/

i went to the culture to battle animation tables, find the animation i want and paste it to the battlle animation table column, then made the culture pack column into "wh2_main_hef_high_elves" to set the foreign animation for the high elf faction so that it would work, the same way as how you did it by making specific tomb kings animation set to the culture pack of the empire, then after that I just proceeded to the land unit table and copy and paste the "hu1_bretonnian_hr1_pegasus_lancer" to the man animation column, after that i went to custom battle and test it, but f, the problem still persist, the unit stilll look glitchy and a mess, so my concern is what am I doing wrong? hahaha how do I solve this problem?

So i searched the workshop for similar mods who edited the animation of certain units by copy and pasting it from different factions, and one of those mods that ive foound is this, the discipline state troops your mod, so i based the solution to my problem to this mod, i did the exact same thing written in your mod to the unit mod that im creating.

I am making a unit mod, its a mod that gives the high elves a high elf version of the pegasus knights from bretonia, the main problem I encountered is the animation, since the pegasus lance animation named "hu1_bretonnian_hr1_pegasus_lancer" is only for the faction of bretonia and not for the high elves, when I copied the said animation in the land unit table of the unit that im making and proceed to test it by playing it in a custom battle, the looks of the said unit is difficult to describe, but in general its a "mess" sorta look like a glitching figure of the unit which from my perspective was probably caused by me copy and pasting an animation not set for the faction of the high elves, so i searched in the net on how to solve my problem, what i found is that u just need to change the "Culture to battle animation tables" in the db from the data pack, i did not quite understand it.

I think it should, yes. The animations used here already exist in game, so anything Synced Animations did to them should apply

@Yankee Thanks! It’ll be up either tonight or tomorrow. This version will technically be incomplete though as there is literally no compatible animation in the game for “human dudes with just swords and nothing else who are chill and don’t yell constantly” so basic swordsmen at arms will be unchanged. I’ll add that in when I figure out how to edit actual animation files.

Is there any chance that a similar mod will come for brettonia? I hate their stupid bravado screams from drafted peasants and spearmen as if they were seasoned norscan warrior or sandmen from star wars.

@湘君UM Oh- definitely! Just mention this mod in the description and/or title- The only tables that should need to be modified are land_units (specifically, the unit animation cell or the spacing cell) and culture_to_battle_animations (tomb guard, tomb guard halberds, and settra halberd to empire).

@Solaire I have not tested it, but if I’m correct in understanding that the author edited the actual animation for “empire_sword_rifle” (or whatever it’s called) and didn’t need to make any changes to the units table itself, then it should be fine

@NoSkill Thanks for the heads up- I’ll bet battle standard bearers works by adding in an officer to all the units or something in which case the relavent tables will be mutually exclusive. I’ll see if I can make a sub mod for it in the near future

Yeah, looks great with brutal battles.

Maybe the brace animation could be swapped for the high elf one too? (At least the swordsmen and spearmen)
