hello there, after i try its working, but im tested with passenger beacon, is there passenger in the beacon need to be waiting to be fill or im wrong for the setting? (electable capacity kind and volume Commercial/Industrial/Residential) and what is this mean?

Would it be possible to add lower capacity volumes, such as 100, 250 etc for the passenger version please?

@fravaletto the mod doesn't change aircraft, possibly you see those speeds when planes are in approach or circling in the waiting patern before landing.

Some strange speed of planes when using this mod... 303 km/h for the Boeing 747 and 236 km/h for the Tu-154. Do planes really fly at such a low speed to a remote airfield or is that the speed at which they climb?

@LexiKatta, unfortunately the method won't work for ships, anything outside the map area is seen as not navigatable for ships by the game.

@RusselinDeineMa hmm, thanks for the feed-back. I doubt though this mod is the cause of what you experience, the mod has no scripting to change any of the game settings, it is really just an airfield. But will keep an eye if I see anything similar happen.

After installing this mod, the population of the entire map stagnated. Even after deinstalling theres absolute zero growth in any of my cities

@Hadruanna, the cargo variants won't produce cargo and the distance is too much for the game to recognise a route. The mod is mainly intended to be able to have planes appear only once in a while, just route them to a remote location for that.

Hey dview, just found your mod. I have always wished planes would fly off map to distant destinations as planes flying inside the map feel very unrealistic distance wise. Just downloaded and going to check this out in game.

Make a waypoint of airlines as a VOR tower maybe better
In transportfever , one map with many cites with airports .Make waypoint , planes from different place landing with a line as real airport Approach routes .

To make the airline much longer emm... maybe satisfact for someone little ,but may not satisfact for make airports play as ATC :steamhappy:

This mod is quite different from the Awayport mod. This mod works more like any other airfield you place on your map, therewith there is no limitation on the number of remote airfields and you get to choose the exact direction plus set various distances. And with the airfield icon showing on the map, I think this is more intuitive to use.
And even if you don't use them as airport, the buoys are nice when used just for the asset.

It is possible to make money, but keep in mind that sims won't travel distance over about 200km.

The remote cargo airfields have no industries, so the will not generate or demand cargo. You can use them as a via route for your cargo.
The main intend of the mod is 'Schonbau'; to have the ability to only have one airport on your map and have planes only appear every so often. If you send a plane on a 12000km journey (or more if you route if via multiple remote airfields); Unless monitoring a planes progress, you must be lucky to spot it on your map :)

That looks awesome! So if I understand correctly, it will emulate a city "off-map", so people will come from the remote airfield and others will want to go to the remote airfield? Also works for cargo?

Dview Hi again, you are right i read something about the maximum traveling distance in TF1, it seem they do the same in TF2. Hope in the next updates they add new features like Air waypoints

Yes they will, but be aware not to expect passengers to spawn beyond 100km.
It is possible to fly passengers between 2 remote airfields with different capacity kinds in the same direction and distance. Only with a direct flight though, sims don't seem to be willing to travel more than about 200km.
