Ok, so I have no idea how to achieve this glossiness effect. I think it has something to do with the phong value in the texture but I didn't get much further than that. I did normal texture mods before but never edited the textures for weapons. So I'm kinda at the end of the road with this.

can you do this again but with Arby26/flippie animations instead?, i can provide a link to where i found the animations, if that helps (i have no clue how modding works except the fact it is hard)

Great add-on. The only thing that bothers me, however, is that the selector is in the "SAFE" position. (This is true for all add-ons that use the "HQ M16A2"...)

env_map is extremely difficult to work with and override much of all other details that are just as important under any type of light effect.

It's still there without having the graphical issue of glowing in the dark.

Think you could increase it a bit how it is on the default models? feels like I'm playing with shaders turned off, IMO there should be a balance between realism and visual richness

env_map was re-purposed to be used properly and reflect on metal parts that show, from what I have seen normally guns don't reflect as intensively as people represent them in their mods.

@Shao Well I hope that you fixed the artifacting on the base texture once you have the source to work with in order to just to fix that little pixelation issue on the stock itself.

That artifacting is because of the base texture, nothing that I could do to fix it since I don't have the source to work with.

Im running the game on allocated memory set to low to avoid crashes with other mods. Luckily Im using custom version of this mod so I was easily able to get original worldmodel back.

The new worldmodel is the same as before until a certain distance, unless there something about lower settings that makes it appear sooner. This is to save on vertices as those weapons have a lot of em and can cause crashes given that one scene has too many. It should be unoticeable at regular play.
