still bugged and as there r other mods which provides u with similar ability (like jetpacks) and with clone rulers u can even get several ruler armors its not really a recommanded mod. if the creator fix the issue i will try it again ^^

I wanna change the jump and frostbite charges I tried the DLC config files, I found jump but not frostbite, any chance I can do that on this mod?

I know this is is old, but Icarus Boots are not appearing in any of the slots available. Any ideas? Anything needed to help diagnose?

to be honest, gaudy or not....
R.A.G.E armor original gives you: extra health AND extra armor, a free heavy or powered weapon slot (strongest multiple target long range weapons in the game) and the rage strike ability.
if this vest only gives you the ability and +2 hp.... its not even giving half of what the original gave you! does it still strike fear into other berserkers? like the rage armor giving berserkers panic if they encounter it?

If I just want to modify the RAGE suite into a vest... Would it function just by deleting any reference not a bout RAGE or...? Sorry, I'm not really a modder, but I can read a .config and .ini decently enough.

@OnyxLock Yes to both. For the first, you just have to change what inventory slot the Jets are equipped to, should be a one line change. The second, I'm not familiar with that mod, but it sounds like you just have to remove those abilities from the armour, create a new item with those abilities, and then specify which item slot to use.

Would it be possible to convert the Icarus Jets to a utility item instead of a tactical gadget? Also, is there any chance that the Chryssalid Hive Queen armor's abilities can be converted to an equippable utility item or tactical gadget?

Not gonna lie, the only one that bothers me is the berserker suit. The other actually look really awesome. But hey, this still looks good.

rage suit/armor and icarus armor also confer a mobility boost of +1, do any of those items add such benefits?

So the RAGE Suit/Armor confers 6 Health, 1 Armor / 7 Health, 2 Armor, so does your Rage Vest do the same or is it only just +2 health?

@chrisnavy21 Armor isn't exposed to the .ini's. You'd have to either modify the mod yourself, or use Armor & Vest Config . The template name is simply 'RageVest'.

where would I look if I wanted to add armor to the rage vest? I tried to add RAGE_VEST_MITIGATION_AMOUNT=2 to the AlienRulerRewards.ini but that didn't work.

It's not mentioned specifically but as you've described these as "items that perform the same functions" that does include the panic proc they can cause, right?

I have to agree with people below, ability to retain a suits, thus having an open slots for other inventory, and having utility items for other armors expands items application variety trifold. Maybe, as an additional step, add a research for unlocking utility items, based on ruler suits. And staking suit and items would grant additional uses, to justify staking or combine them all on one soldier for ultimate super soldier experience!

@TeslaRage Haven't used it, but as long as that mod is modifying the existing abilities instead of replacing them with new ones, I believe they should carry-over.

Upgraded Alien Ruler (a CX mod) made changes to the armor abilities; changed them to cooldown based instead of charge based. Would those be carried over to the items in this mod?
