I'm using a mod that increases the number of officers to 16.
Am I right? Using your mod, all 16 officers will never get tired, even if they don't sleep?

it works awsome on my ful releas:steamthumbsup:
shole  [author] 10 Aug, 2024 @ 3:13pm
Description lists versions this works with, including full release 2024.1, which i just tested with the latest patch to be functional. Please don't just shout to update unless it's actually broken.

Morale / discipline is out of scope for this mod - see my other mod 'No Discipline' for that.

Chappers2711 4 Aug, 2024 @ 10:40am
will this be updated for full release?
mitino 9 Jul, 2024 @ 11:33am
Hello after a patrol time of about 30 days there is a moral debuff for lack of sleep. I really like your mod but this makes long patrols quite annoying.
photog297 2 Jul, 2024 @ 11:28am
Is this Beta compatible?
Quinn The Hellblazer 1 Jun, 2024 @ 3:12am
Love you, man! Thank you!
shole  [author] 1 Jun, 2024 @ 12:13am
Now updated for 2024.1.
Apologies if you managed to download the unfinished 2024.1 only version - this should work for new and old versions now.
Quinn The Hellblazer 30 May, 2024 @ 1:16am
Thank you man! You are the Kaleun!

Quinn The Hellblazer 29 May, 2024 @ 11:23am
This mod is a must have. Please... Update it...
AmericanErik 29 May, 2024 @ 11:13am
No longer seems to be working with the May 27 2024 Beta

(If I have one must-have mod, its this! An update would be amazing!)
God's Will 29 May, 2024 @ 6:17am
So I am just asking. Will you update the mod to the beta/full release version?
Foxxhound 25 Jul, 2023 @ 3:18pm
Maybe it's not so easy to work around after all. With or without the mod, on any of my saves, the bug continues now continues to occur, but only when I toggle the button that unassigns and reassigns crew to your ship. Vacation worked fine this time, but I unassigned all my crew and then had them board again and they were all yellow-brown vegetables. My game is currently running without your mod.

However , it isn't a total loss. I was only sailing with six officers and I had space for one more, so I hired him and he is immune. He's still immune even if I try it when the mod is enabled, though.

I guess after a while the mod corrupts individual crew members without a way to reset them Unless I use the console to kill them and replace them, maybe, but that's such a waste.

I'm going to stop posting before I confuse too many people.

One more thing and then I can hopefully conclude this wall of text (sorry about that, but if I could just temper the energy factor to more enjoyable levels instead of having it dominate my u-boat's operations, everything would be perfect).

It's worth noting that shortly before finding this mod, I was attempting my own mod that made energy replenish after only a few seconds of rest, but unfortunately this had the side effect of causing it to deplete at a proportionally quick rate. However, I found it extremely interesting that despite my officers having zero energy, the energy bar was grey , not yellow-brown, and they immediately went to rest instead of standing there.

Since it doesn't break the game when changes are made only by normal game mechanics as with my attempt (energy decreases over time, increases from sleep, etc), something must be changing that the script needs to adapt to.
Foxxhound 25 Jul, 2023 @ 12:46pm
Actually, I wonder... Do you think the script could still be running on officers after they leave boat? If the script functions by finding the active officers and constantly overwriting their energy addresses to keep them maxed, that sounds solid, unless the game changes the format of the officer's data when they are unassigned from the boat. If the script doesn't recognize this, it will continue writing to the same address regardless of whatever values are now stored where the energy used to be, thereby corrupting the officer's data. My guess is that the game stores some appearance data for the officer's portrait at or shortly after the address previously reserved for the energy value. I say this because their portraits are empty when they are normally displayed at the bottom of the screen, when I hold down the Tab key, and in the Crew menu. This data is restored if I click them in the Crew menu to customize them.
Foxxhound 25 Jul, 2023 @ 12:14pm
Sure thing. By the way, I'm not sure if I should mention it here, but the paid Cheat Happens trainer has exactly the same problem as this mod. Obviously I don't have access to the Cheat Happens scripts for a comparison, but I took a peek at some of your scripts (like, barely skimmed over it) and it seems like while the index script accounts for an increase in the number of active officers on the vessel, it doesn't properly handle decreases in the index.
shole  [author] 25 Jul, 2023 @ 3:51am
That's an odd side effect. I will have to look into that at some point. Thanks for reporting.
Foxxhound 24 Jul, 2023 @ 10:02pm
Love the mod and I agree, the whole crew energy thing is super-annoying. Unfortunately the game really hates modders messing with energy for some reason and it creates a game-breaking bug.

If you have more than five officers and you send them on a headquarters assignment, vacation, etc., five officers will return normally but the remainder will have their energy bars filled with some ugly yellow-brown color and they'll just stand there like vegetables. You can't select them and they won't do anything on their own.

It's a very dangerous bug. Even if you only have five officers, be careful on the Espionage missions or anytime you're carrying a guest passenger. Guests count as officers too and if you order one of your own to leave the u-boat while you're carrying a passenger then they'll return brain-dead and the damage is permanent as far as I can tell.

Still love the mod. I just have to restart the game with the mod deactivated before I send them on vacation.

Mod still working! All crew energy always full 100%, thank you very much!

Please update
[IF]Marauder_JRS 22 May, 2022 @ 1:09pm
Working, but sometimes has a minor bugs. Fix - remove sleeping period.
shole  [author] 21 May, 2022 @ 5:44pm
With current B131 version, works fine. I just can't be arsed to update the metadata every update.
Questlove 21 May, 2022 @ 4:46pm
I don't think this will work with the current version.
shole  [author] 10 Feb, 2022 @ 4:06am
The mod is functional as of B131.
I have not updated the metadata version string as it is the only thing that would have changed.
[IF]Marauder_JRS 9 Feb, 2022 @ 6:05am
Tnx for you good work! Is there any chance of update ?
shole  [author] 11 Oct, 2021 @ 3:33pm
Still working as designed as of B129 hotfix 4.
Please try again.
Also check if you actually mean Discipline, which is a separate value, which is a separate mod I have available for.
Zagan 11 Oct, 2021 @ 2:57am
Like all the other mods in the workshop....OUTDATED will not work!
kimdownunder 3 Oct, 2021 @ 11:08pm
I dont know if it would be possible to keep some fatigue? Make them get tired slower, but make them recover a bit quicker? Just a thought. Certainly the current fatigue factor is bloody annoying.
HolyCrab 16 Sep, 2021 @ 9:48am
Good lord almighty, where the hell have you been! I thought I was gonna die of old age while waiting.
✠ Dmitri Sokolov 11 Sep, 2021 @ 12:39pm
Thanks, you fixed the game!!
EX_Bravo22 14 Aug, 2021 @ 5:14pm
Works very well! Thank you!
darkschnider420 14 Aug, 2021 @ 10:11am
You should have named this mod Pervatin.
SutqaySyrup 13 Aug, 2021 @ 9:32am
YES, the only one aspect of the game I found to be most annoying.
niwo 10 Aug, 2021 @ 4:19am
Great to have an officer at deck when under attack
Chernets 9 Aug, 2021 @ 6:00am
Finally. I hate having to manually tell my officers when to go to bed and wake up during long voyages, so that they'll actually do their jobs when they should.
shole  [author] 6 Aug, 2021 @ 7:06pm
tested with b129 p17
the mod does not modify code or data so it should work with future versions
