Hi, sorry silly question the "kill target" command it's a cheat for untargettable units or it's a command units order?

Had this mod. Once I installed and activated the Enhanced Salvage and Repair mod, it conflicted and this one will not work while the other is active.

The headlights are working from me in single player. I don't think they are mech specific. I haven't tried the thermals in MP yet, but I think since it's really a client-side mod, that you, your server, and your friends all need to have it. I could see a server not supporting in in MP, as it could be seen as a kind of cheat, and generally renders weather conditions meaningless.

Remember that the author noted above that the mod would conflict with YetAnotherMechLab. It probably also conflicts with mods that perform identical functions.

so for some reaosn the headlight of this mod doesn't seem to work for me in single player and the thermals don't seem to work for my co-op players is this a known issue with a fix?

the game says that this conflicts with another mod. Not sure which one, but it only became a problem after getting mech salvage mod, infantry no expense, and infantry no damage

I can't get the headlights to work, but everything else seems to be working fine. Maybe one of my graphics settings is the issue?

Was there previously a version of this that had improved tooltips? Is that still available somewhere? I can't seem to find a mod anywhere that does improved tooltips while keeping everything vanilla.

i think the default loadout portion of this mod is bugged: if i deviate from the default load out on a mech example: the Orion YAJ i always drop 1 lrm10 for a srm6 and i drop the 3 large lasers for 2 ppc's 2.2 heat sink per sec heatbank II(my loadout has more heat sink damage armor etc etc then default). ppcs wep group 1, srm6 wep group 2, 2x lrm10 wep group 3 pre 3/8/2023-3/9/2023 update this build in my game avgs out at 1200~ damage post 3/8/2023-3/9/2023 update any ai i put in this mech regardless of pilot rank avgs out at 500 damage. no mods that affect AI

I'd recommend using an Xbox controller or some other PC compatible gamepad though if you ever plan on exploring the gamepad UI. Microsoft PCs tend to not like PS4 controllers and I have to use a third-party app to make my computer think I'm playing an Xbox controller. But that's neither here nor there. =w=;

Uh... that'd need me to have a controller (PS4 controller?), and to override some HUD widget which almost always causes complications and incompatibilities.
I'm considering integrating the UAV and CoolShot from YAML though. Maybe the Salvage V1 as well.
Whenever I have the time...

I installed the YAML mods from Nexus mods and didn't see the heat vision options in the game. Wasn't this included in the base YAML Mechlab (or weapons?) mod? Mod order maybe? I'm going to try installing this to see if it brings my heat vision back.

The modification somehow partially affects the localization, changing some menu and settings into English, regardless of the language I have chosen. ._.

Greetings, I'm liking the lights and thermal mod in this pack.^^ Sadly I play on PS4 controller and have to keep my keyboard nearby in order to tap "L" or "PgNd" in order to activate the light and thermal.^^;

Do you think it's possible to add to this mod in a later patch to work with controllers too? The game has a hotbar menu display system but no way to alter the control scheme from the base game's options menu.^^; But if you manage to learn how the setup works, there's an empty spot where the nightvision, drone cam, and switch mech is located that you might be able to add to.

Just thought I'd pass this thought along if you're ever interested.

Ah, okay no worries. One of the places I actually got the vanilla values from is the YAML page on Nexus, so could put updating the notes there on the long to-do list too :P

Oops. I thought I've fixed that.
Those were the old default vanilla values, btw (cored: 60, legged: 75, headshot: 95%). Pre-DLC something. Forgot to update the ini.

After digging around I noticed that this mod also changes mech salvage percentages a little, such as nearly doubling the rate of mech salvage for legging (base 40% -> base 75%?). Since it materially affects gameplay, I feel like such would be worth explicitly mentioning in the mod description.

Thermals seem to be working well so far in limited playing. Turrets seem to have little/no heat though - is that intentional?

I am trying to play through using quality of life stuff versus just using YAML as I want to try and play the game as designed but i need more stats like YAML has. This would be amazing if it gets updated.

I really hope the author does fix this. It was a great piece of work and it was SO much lighter and less complicated than YAML. Sigh, fingers crossed. Either way, many thanks for your time in making the mod to begin with cszolee79

Really the main thing i used from this mod was the button to queue up a work order to restore a mech to default loadout. It's frustrating that that aspect still seems to work, but other aspects of the mod that I rarely used or never used are broken and taking basic functionality with them, leaving the mod unusable.

Seems to bork the cold storage - no mechs are shown. Removing "direct sell from cold storage" feature can be a quick and dirty fix.

Would be great if the mod didn't remember the rank of weapon and instead just tried to equip whatever the highest rank of weapon the player happens to have in their inventory.

Weapon ranks screwing up being able to restore loadouts is really annoying!

Great mod regardless.

Looks like on Campaign missions the Recommended tonnage thing is gone. Can anyone else verify this? For example i'm pretty early in the campaign on another play through and i launched a mission with a recommendation or limit or whatever at 315 and my lance was 200 i got my butt kicked and then figured it out after the fact.
