there seems to be an issue with my cars as they dont move. the wheels rotate a bit and the engine revs all the way up but nothing else. it does not move. Is it something I did on automation or can I fix it any way?

Was curious if there was any way you could set the engine for V6-12 appropriately (chassis is the V era with NA and twin-turbo hybrid) It'd be awesome to have it fit as it should.
Seems to sit all together with the body to low (body being moved up so bottom of oil pan touches the body). if its not possible, all good, i'll be happy with a inline or boxer variant of F1 cars til the new updates to engines

@spikevic03 you have to put the exported zip file into beamng's repo file, then you have to go into the game, go to mods, select the car mod and unpack it, make sure you have the car active on a map before cotinuing. Click open in explorer and keep clicking the files until you reach the jbeams. Go into the jbeam file of the car "(the name for your car.jbeam)" and look for a line of code that has the word "chassis" and put a double forward slash in front of it or delete the line of code and save it. return to the game and press ctrl+r and the chassis should be gone

Can you do a tutorial to hide the chassis when the vehicle is in Beamng because Kira Von Black's comment does not work, thanks. Otherwise the mod is fine continue like this.

GUIGUILAFRITE, it is easier said than done to integrate this in to the mod. if you are in automation you can simply use the menu on the right side of your screen to hide parts of your car, you can then use one of the many modular engine mods to have a movable engine. if you are intrested in doing the same in beam you can simple put" //" before the engine flexbodie in the main .jbeam file. I know about the issue and i dont see this as to big of an issue and it's therefore pretty low down on my priority list.

oh no... i just teached the secret dark arts of Jbean file modification. now the guy gonna go into the path of making engines with a million RPM or an infinite ammount of HP on hull of the car XD

@2012412a add a // on this line bellow on your (Carname).jbeam file (open it with notepad or notepad++) the line begins like this:

["chassis1", ["CarBody"] ...

for example:

if your car name is FM23B the name of the file should be FM23B.jbeam and the line should be in the category Flexbodies right at the begining of the file.

to hide the suspension, it is the same, wheels_F or wheels_R, and on the category flexbodies, add // on front of those lines. they begin like this:

Front:
["suspension_f4", ...
["suspensionm_f6", ...

Rear:
["suspension_r9"
["suspension_r11"

anything you wanna hide, if you can find on the flexbodies section, you should just put a "//" before it. (without the " at the begining and end).

I have noticed that people are having issues with hitboxes, a temporary would be to use double wishbone and higher suspension heights. I am working on a permanent fix.
