Just finished a campaign with about 685 mods, this one included, and had no major issues! Thanks for putting this up.

There is no overlap. They add the missions from there respective missions to CI's mission setup

Yes if i have both of those man , if have this and and the one you posted do they overlap , if i have SO Bridge: ABA Missions and SO Bridge: Additional Mission Types Redux will they overlap or ? how ill it work

All required mods for aba missions and covert infiltration will be required for them to work

Aba missions adds new missions to the game. This mod only allows them to spawn correctly in covert infiltration. Hope this explains it.

It is a hard requirement for aba missions and without one of the aba mission mods this mod doesn't do anything.

The only variation is it can be either aba missions or aba missions plus

Yes it will work with plus. AML will say it's missing a dependant mod. It is okay to ignore. As long as you have one of the better missions it will be ok.

This mod only adds the missions to the covert infiltration mission setup. It doesn't touch the actual mission but I will have a look.

kill the advent field commander always crashes when he tries to evac(th 4 turn mission, tried several different missions)
didnt had this before this mod
nothing in the logs, i use console command "endbattle" for now before he evacs

If using plus the only thing it should say is in AML that you are missing a required item as it looks for the standard version. there should be no errors in game for using plus.

Derelict Mec's is redundant when using it with A Better DLC, so there is two mods that have those, the difference is that ABDLC does not use the same character from the missions and adjusts them but rather the Advent Sparks are their own unit.

There is a version of the Shens last gift sparks in ABA dlc (and a standalone version) didn't realise there was a a 3rd version. Was making sure you didn't have the stand alone version. The version that you have is the third unrelated version. (except the models)

The derelict mechs are similar to neonate vipers, they only show up on one story mission. It was the one where you climb the tower with Shen until you fight the boss Sectopod on the roof.

Are you not getting pods that are just one Neonate Viper? That's why I dropped these two mods, they were generating pods of a single "follower" that was much too easy.

Kismet is way beyond my understanding too.
I am running neonate vipers. Aren't the derelict mechs the standalone version on advent sparks from ABA dlc

I believe the cause was one of a pair of additional enemy mods I added, Neonate Vipers or Derelict Mechs. I added them because they were on the ChristopherOdd mod list and then noticed his "fixup mod" which makes final adjustments had a line about making these enemies no longer qualify as leaders. It does explain why I was seeing solo pods of just one of these enemies.

I don't know what exactly kismet does but it seems related to DerBK's comment.

If anyone gets a missing mod issue on saves called ABAMBridge a work around to save your saved game is at the bottom of the description. caused by an upload issue and was fixed quickly.

"Something that seems to happen very sporadically is kismet having hiccups and not correctly designating the boss as the mission target. That would lead to being able to kill everything on the map and the mission end still not triggering" from DerBK when working out if it was me that caused it.

Gave it a try with the minimum modset:
* highlander
* covert infiltration
* so bridge
* aba better missions
* aba: war of the chosen
* robo's squad select
* better second wave support
* mod config menu
* open squad select any time
* accurate sit rep
* infiltrator's disguises
* living space
* prototype armory

Mission functioned correctly in two attempts, the leader Chrysalid appeared. Thank you both for the help, it is on me to find the offending mod.

Covert infiltration is the central mod in the strategic overhaul. This bridge is to add ABA missions in to the covert infiltration setup. The minimum mod set up would be ABA missions and its requirements, covert infiltration and its requirements plus this bridge

@DerBK I have ABA Better Missions and its requirement A Better ADVENT: WOTC installed and enabled. Of your other "Better" series mods I also have A Better Chosen and ABA: Better DLC as well.

@Dies Irea, do you have a minimum mod set you think should be tested? I am not sure the required items set listed on this page is correct, for example Strategy Overhaul is not listed. I could test it on my side.

It's difficult to know where to start. As this mod doesn't touch encounter lists or sitreps.
The original mod has no lost on that mission type.
It can't be covert infiltration as it happens in skirmisher mode.

I went into skirmish mode, set the mission to bug hunt and map to abandoned. The game seems to have automatically set The Lost sitrep. I teleported all around the map and couldn't find a commander.

I can totally understand that my mod list is gigantic, is there a setup you would like me to test?

@Admo You probably have but if you reload the mission does it work then. Seen another mission with lost have issues recently. This mod does not touch the spawns so should change anything about the mission just helps it spawn

The bug hunt mission is a type of search and destroy mission should all come from ABA missions mod

I just did a "Bug Hunt" mission, a hunt of an Advent commander but the target is a Chrysalid. The commander never spawned, the mission was lost when the timer ran out but I was standing on the enemy evac point without ever seeing a commander.

The mission also had the lost sitrep and was on the abandoned tileset. I have the two required mods installed but perhaps I am missing another mod for this special Chrysalid?

No idea if that's related to your mod, but all of a sudden I can't mark the supply crates on the Extract Supplies mission (map with the Lost as sitrep)

You can ignore that. Error. Technically they are not required. It just doesn't do anything if you don't have them. Will update the description to make it clearer
