They were correct a year and a half ago YAW(C) has changed the amounts in the base ammo and even added more weapons that I haven't updated for. I posted the source files in case some one wants to use my work as a starting point, ammo mods are really easy. Sorry I haven't been able to work on any mods in some time.

Of course it will worth the expense, thats what was interesting me in the mod. But thats interesting if the calculations are correct. Currently: a Double + Single ammo type from YAW compared to a huge ammo from Zulu, is nearly similar interm of ammos. the different is like 2 or 3% more from Zulu to YAW. If i have to make a choice, i would not pay a Triple ammo bin wich will gives me 2-3% more ammos if the ammo bin is at this colossal price. Currently, in its state, it doesn't worth it at all. I have checked one of the vanilla weapon, AMS. from Zulu ammo for vanilla, and the calculations are correct. A single AMS is 6000 and the Huge is 30000. Sounds like the problem is only concerning YAW weapons

Huge ammo is costly to off set the space and tonnage savings. Well worth the expense.

A lot of ammo calculations are incorrect. Its supposed to be x2 and x5 but its definitly less. As exemple i have:
Heavy Gauss Ammo: 16
Double: 26 (x1,62) instead of 32
Huge: 65 (x4,06) instead of 80

Or:
Rotary AC/2 Ammo: 840
Double: 1400 (x1,66) Instead of 1680
Huge: 3500 (x4,16) instead of 4200

These were the 2 first i needed, and these 2 are wrong, i haven't checked other ammos but i suppose its errored everywhere.
These ammo costs an arm, i wasn't expecting to be scammed like that :D

The ammo is working correctly this is ammo bins for YAW and YAMC it does not include vanilla ammo. If you want double and huge bins for vanilla you need to use Zulu Ammo or Zulu Equipment YAML in addition to this.

After a lot of thought I decided I will post my source files when I get a chance. Right now I'm working 18 days straight 10 to 16 hour shifts so please be patient and understanding. Zulu better heroes source files are already posted had someone asking how to add a new skill tree like I did.

Works with the YAW YACW YAML Mods but does not work with the new DLC so vanilla ammo will not have the double and huge bins. Kurst if you have no time for the game or the mod can't you post your source files so maybe another can pickup this mod ?

Most likely not but ammo is basic and not likely to be altered so this version may work fine. I haven't played in almost a year so I don't even know at this point. I have no time to spare sorry.

Will there be an update for the new version of the game?

Zulu Ammo is up! sometimes is takes a few hours for steam to update.

hmm.. not quite ready to move onto YAML im assuming id need that in order to make use of them.

Just Zulu Equipment YAML, I haven't made a separate mod for just the ammo, would not be had to do.

are there any mods out there by chance that have LRMs with huge?

my bad was thinking this added regular LRM huge ammo aswell.

This is Double and Huge ammos for Yet Another Weapon and YAW Clan LRM Huge is in Zulu Equipment if that is what you mean?

Just like Endo steel and Ferro-Fibrous armor there are lighter materials at the cost of space. The idea is the casing around the bin, the packing between the ammo, the ammo feeding system and even parts of the ammo can be made using such materials. Like wise Huge ammo bins use lightweight materials that are not bulkier but are expensive.

There is 2X ammo or 8X ammo mods that just feel like cheating to me. This an option trying for a more balanced approach for us who want something different, if you don't like the option then don't use it.

This makes no logical sense... How do you fit two tons of ammo in one ton of weight?
