Right, I've been meaning to say this before but forgot about it until now.

First off, splendid mod, man. The designs you made for these dragons are just so aesthetically pleasing, I like it.

Now then, for those who use SFO (like me), y'all should also download the "Total Unit Resize submod" (I think is the name) for this mod as well. Why? Because SFO has TUR that is integrated in the main mod which overrides this one. After installing that, it should fix the 'dragons showing normally on quest battles but reverts when using them' issue. That's how it worked for me at least.

Once again, great mod! Hopefully the people who still play this game (like me TwT) will be able to find this useful. Have a great day y'all

Hi, the problem with the LOD in Lamoureux, it's because of the "extra" ice, wich alters the basegame model. Could you do a version but without the extra ice elements?? it would solve the problem. Your skin it's really awesome and it doesn't need more extra elements. Thanks!

I feel that, I barely got the game when Immortals came out. The little time I do have with the game has gone to modding hahaha.

Thanks man. Hopefully I can get it out before the end of the year. I put my brain into overdrive getting my Greenskin and Skaven mods out as fast as I did, now I gotta relax and play the game, I've spent way too much time modding during my time off.

Yeah this is one of my favorite too, I literally can't play Imrik without it and he's one of my fave characters. This mod is about medium to high difficulty to port over because WH3 uses different shaders for glow effects, which means I have to do new .wsmodels for them, and then there were custom assets from calm which I have to translate over to, so it may be a bit for this one.

@GunKing Would you consider making a submod that leaves Minaithnir and Lamoureux untouched so as to avoid the LOD issues with those two? These reskins are perfect but that flicker catches my eye every time...

I'm sure someone somewhere is working on an SFO sub-mod. But it won't be from me. I'm not sure if the load order would change things, I don't play SFO often.

Sounds like you have a mod conflict. Possibly a resize mod is making them appear as vanilla dragons.

Also would this cause issues with sons of asuryan. All dragons have a rider in that mod and im wondering if that causes issues for this mod?

Hey just wanted to say thank you. Didnt realize how much I was going to appreciate this mod, especially Minaithnir, hes got to be my favorite. Honors the table top model but still has his own look from the game. Hats off to you GunKing and Calm&NormalTime. Cheers amigo.

I understand what you meant just fine, you explained it very well! Nonetheless, I didn't put the full complexities of your solution into the description, I only let people know its there if they're interested. I think for most people who encounter mod conflicts, they'll just settle for turning the responsible mod off.

And as far as I know there's no way to resolve the conflict easily, either the other mods authors have to make patches or you have to make patches for them, which is pointless and not worth it. The only way is that people have to do it themsevles.

I'm not sure other people understand what I wrote tho, english is not my first language and imo this is quite tricky to explain. I understand the _imrik suffix in your mod is a must to make the new dragon skins only applied on unique dragons, this is CA fault. So to resolve the conflict the best solution I could come up with is directly editing mods that try to alter the same value from variants_table from this mod. What I did is simply copying Variant Filename of the rows in variants_table of your mod into that of variants_table of the other mod (just the rows of the dragons not all) and finally I remove that table from your mod to keep the other changes of the other mod that are not about the skin.

Well sorry brah just re-downloaded the 4K and I see no issue with Shackolot. No missing thorns, no holes. That black area you describe sounds a lot like an issue some people had with my Beastmen mod where some Gors had blacked out torsos, and the culprit were video files in another mod, which are always on, even if not checked on the mod manager.

I'll check it out! I think I see what you mean in the first pic I have up (which is 4K textures but not 4K settings). I just looked in-game and he displays fine for the subscribed version of the mod. It'll be a while before it gets fixed, as I'll have to re-upload the mod to google drive once I fix it which is an ordeal unto itself.

I still don't know well how mods overwrite each other in TWW2, I have another dragon mod that tweak the model scale of imrik unique dragons that alter the same "variants_tables", I intended to let this mod overwrites that dragon mod of mine for only that table but no matter how I move their load order up or down it doesn't work. I love the dragons so much that i decided to figure it out myself and now i'm really satisfied.

If you guys can use Pack File Manager (Rusted PFM), open up pack file of the mod that conflicts with this one. In db->variants_tables, find rows that has Variant Name with the pattern dragon_imrik, for example "wh2_dlc15_hef_forest_dragon_imrik", "wh2_dlc15_hef_forest_dragon_imrik_boss", look at their corresponding column Variant Filename and add this suffix "_imrik" to each. For example, "def_black_dragon" into "def_black_dragon_imrik", the dragons should now have their unique skins.

Strangely enough, other mods mess up this one. If you have any dragon related mods, perhaps turn one of em off. My 4K screenshots buddy was able to get the mod to work by just turning off everything except this one.

You may spend a while figuring out which mod is the culprit.
