the mod works but you cant overdo it. You have to remember the engine is still limited. It can only handle so much.

It works multiplayer as is - the point of this mod unlike many others is it doesn't make any game changes and therefore will work online. Instead it abuses an exploit I found to overflow the current population and make it negative.

Sorry I should have done this long ago - I have just patched and resolved the issue - Omniscience is now disabled again. A shift in the tech ids caused it to enable and a random other research got disabled.

A way to get it to work would be to set omniscience to have a fixed cost, say 20,000gold?, instead of having a scaling cost based on pop.

The cost of it comes from a calculation using current population - the "hack" makes it negative so it gets miscalculated. Hence reverting cost to normal is impossible sorry.

It is an unfortunate although thankfully minor side effect of my trick.

@RabbitThunder: The "hack" only lasts while the game is in play. If you load a saved game it doesn't successfully reload the population hack.

@DamageDealer sorry can't fix this - it is to do with the map name being different. If you rename the xs and xml files to swap them it should then work. (There is also a file you can modify I believe to make the AI work with additional water aps but can't remember what it is. (And will not be online compatible))

@cybog ensure you are playing the infinite population version - it does not replace your existing maps so you can still play the same map under normal rules.

The infinite population is working fine, but when i wanna play with my brother via LAN the enemies dont build any harbours. really annoying when you wanna fight with huge amounts of ships against the enemies and they just built a few people that just stand around and a temple. pls fix

Found cause of the omniscience bug despite me disabling it - it seems the tech IDs have changed meaning what I forbid used to be omniscience no longer is grrrrr.

That's odd are you sure? The original script covers both large and small maps and I didn't alter those parts - just added in my exploit that grants infinite population. (By overflowing the current population)

Everything is working fine and i did not do any of the manual instalation. One thing that really makes it hard to use this mod is you need to add large maps. Both the large and normal sixed maps are the same, and i like my large maps. So get to fixing that if you can.

I did not have to do the manual installation. It didn't work at first but then a simple restart of the game did it. RMS files are definitely supported by the mod manager, just maybe a little buggy.
