I really, really enjoy this mod, it's delightful!
That said, after installing this mod, I find that cards keep doubling on me.
Which is to say, whenever a card transitions to another card inside of a verb, it's been giving me two copies of the new card.
Painting with 1 Passion gives me 2 Exhausted Passion, 1 Health becomes 2 Wounds/Afflictions, 1 Wound/Affliction becomes 2 Health, fulfilling a commission gives me two "unavailable" copies of the Patron in question, etc.
It's rather confusing, and seemed worthy of mention.
Cheers!
Can confirm, the Geminiad can't be studied.
That said I do have a few different ideas for how to fix this, and on the top of the list is lowering the lore requirements for lower level tools.
Overall, I wasn't particularly impressed by the whole solo-expedition mechanic. There's a lot of things that make it unreasonable w/o out of game knowledge (the wiki). Without any way to "reinforce" your solo expeditions, you have to have everything prepared already. Since you need 10 in a given stat to consistently pass challenges, in order to pass any place that takes 3 different stats, you need 3 different level-12 items. And if you want to use tools instead of ingredients, you also have to have the appropriate level 10 lore
If you're playing without meta-knowledge from previous runs or checking the wiki, you need to run through all the unique locations with standard cultists, then the generic location with standard cultists to note the challenges, and then finally do your solo expedition. So I just started checking the wiki
As for the other issue I might have buried the lede a little bit too hard, but there is a subtle ongoing background theme to the marks that I thought would serve as a good hint. There technically are two other endings as well, though they're far easier to figure out.
