Quite certainly, the animator cared about what he was doing.
We chose these animations because they were the best fit for a shotgun with pistol grip, because the grip is never visible. Changing the positioning of the weapon on the screen would have made the pistol grip visible.

But it stands too high compared to every other gun in the game and it annoys me. :)

And this is an arcadish game anyway, there isn't even ads for most weapons, no one cares about realism.

The positioning of the model is the exact same as it was with the compile we took the animations from. Every reasonable shooter would fire a shotgun from their shoulder and that's exactly what the position on the screen is meant to bring across.

Nice shotgun but the model stays too high. Can you lower it a bit please?
