This should have become a vanilla feature long ago. As much as I love Rimworld, things bug me like when a conduit can start a random fire yet the colony has the technology to build a spaceship and give the colonists bionic limbs. @L-Firefly, I used this mod for a very long time and I salute you. o7

Hi @Teusdv, please double check if you didn't forget to enable the mod (or if it didn't get autodisabled by the game itself). Also please note that the mod does not make current power conduits invisible, but instead adds a new power conduit in the power tab called Underground Power Conduit

I've checked it out. Unfortunately setting parent to PowerConduit does not fix this error.

@L-Firefly, to reproduce Katie bug you could also use Raise The Roof mod. Simply put your conduit anywhere, than build solar roof above it.

Seems like for some reasons building built on top of this conduit doesn't recognize it as wire.

I wonder if changing <ThingDef ParentName="BuildingBase" Name="PowerConduit"> parentName to PowerConduit would made other buildings recognize it (other mods with invisible conduits do so this way, subscribe "subsurface conduit" and take a look). From my limited testing this seems to fix the issue. I'll check it out in few hours and let you know if this works as intended.

Hi Katie, I was not able to reproduce this issue, could you maybe try starting a new world and see if you can reproduce it yourself with your usual mods list and then also with just Underground Wires and Dubs mod only?
If you could also send me your world file that would also be useful. I'll take the rest of your mods from the Hugs' logs you sent

Hey, thanks again for this mod! There's a bug that causes the game freeze every few seconds, it's a problem with multiple nets on the same cell. Never encountered it until 1.4 but could also be it clashing with Dubs Bad Hygiene (as I only added it recently and it included pipes).

Hi there, i hope you may can help me, im making a small mod and is pritty new to it. i have a powerd lamp were the wire don't start where the lamp is, so i really would like either to adjust the wire or hide it for my mod only, is the possible? or hard to do?

Sadly no. This mod (mostly) only for running wires through the center of the room so that your colonists don't complain about an ugly environment because of that wire

At first I thought you hid the actual wires (the small wires between conduits and objects). That would be interesting.
As for the conduits, well, as you said yourself such mods already exist so it's only a matter of preferene.

Hi Timou. This is basically the same idea with the only difference between his and mine mod being the balance. So you should pick only one of those mods based on which one you like more and think is better balanced c:

Hi Sir Luis! I don't think it would make much sense to hide items inside walls/underground, yet make those items easily accessible. If the storage is so much hidden and pawns take 0 seconds to take/place items there, that's out of logic. But this mod provides an interesting item storing solution that you might like if you have any problems with vanilla items storing.

can u make underground insivible storage chest that you can still place stuff over them like the way u can place stuff over power conduits/>?
