The last stage is also notably different, which is also a bit dissapointment.

I can't deny the effort, but it just doesn't feel cactus canyon-y anymore.

I feel like this map not being in separate stages really hurts it in it's whole "being cactus canyon"-ness. It also feels far more brown than Cactus Canyon did.

Along with that it could do with some more cacti, to make it feel like it earns the name.

The omission of Stage 2 is also disappointing, but Valve did the same so that's w/e.

Very good rework! My only complaint is that there aren't that many cacti on the map in the way Valve might have originally envisioned it. Hoping this and Asteroid redux make it in!

while i agree with you pyro attack that the second stage should have been included you need to understand that even in the final beta version of the original cactus canyon the second stage was was absent it was removed by the original developer of the map prob for a reason so all what sunah did was just finishing the final version of said beta, and did not include the second stage cuz it was removed with intention regardless this is the only version on the workshop that is an finished version of the old cactus canyon so even if this somehow gets added as an official map its better then nothing imo.

Not this version, the original 3 stage version.

this and asteroid redux should be added as official maps, its nice that the community finished these maps by themselves.

@RomanPlayer22 To be honest, I'm not sure if valve will ever add this or not since this is a map that they added to the game in 2014 and removed in 2016. Cactus Canyon is a beta map that they never bothered to finish. It was part of a beta map test program that the game used to have in the years 2014-2015. Cactus Canyon is not this guy's map if you didn't know. All he did was just finish the map himself.

Hoping that this will be in the new update! :D

You know what I think this needs that would make it perfect? A fuck ton of cactuses in the canyon. Or at least a lot

Nice. Please increase the brightness of the light environment and possibly use a more mid day skybox. It really does make a difference to the success of a map.
