Recently reinstalled Black Mesa and was never was able to find out what caused it, sorry.
Sadly I no longer have black mesa installed but if I ever do install it again I'll try my best to fix the issues with all of my mods (that damned bullsquid glitch sadly isn't able to be fixed), though i can't think of what could cause the silence while burning, but again i'll check it out when i get around to it.

Didnt upsample the best in my opinion but here it is
https://youtu.be/5TwWw-Luu2M?t=6
I thought about doing this.
But upsampling the 329 old voicelines, and then mastering each sentence into all of the also 300 or so new voicelines is not only a mountain of work, time, and patience to deal with specific file names and such, but because of how short the voicelines are and how long they will become there will be alot of voicelines cutting eachother off as they try to play over eachother.
The workload and me being lazy ontop of it most likely not working properly, i just dont think its a task i can quite tackle, sorry
Bruuuuuuhhhh
