2. i played as teilym, and i couldn't find any decision or event. is there something wrong?
I understand that low morale is a modifier from Ideas of Syrous, but its recovery was so slow that I was forced to unconditionally surrender, even though I had 140k manpower and much money. Recovery was so unreasonably delayed that the truce was over and morale was still halfway through. Mercenaries are also useless to Syrious.
It's very frustrating, but I fully understand you if this nation was meant to be destroyed, like the old Roman Empire in the ET mod.
1. Selecting an explorer:
The game crashes when I try to hire and use an explorer, even if I pause.
2. Lost and desolate:
The army loses all morale as it walks through the decolonized provinces, and no longer recovers, like it was a fleet in the middle of the ocean. So you have to delete the army because it stays locked there after it loses morale completely. It's like exploring was a punishment. (Attrition is not caused by lack of supply.)
To address each issue one individually:
1. The drilling is part of the religion modifiers
2.I just went and fixed that (thank you for bringing its attention to me)
3. Also part of religion/national ideas of Syrous
4. If memory serves I got rid of the map stealing feature (or pushed it way back) because whats discovered from start is being very lenient as it is. (for everyone but syrous)
5. I got no clue about that one. Ill fix it when I can, but there were some crash problems relating to exploring sea provinces so Im gonna fix that first.
Thanks for the feedback!
I continued my gameplay as SYROUS, I found the following bugs:
1. Drilling is "happening" automatically and there is no way to disable it, the drilling bar fills up on its own.
2. Institutions do not spread among my provinces when I acquired them by development.
3. Morale takes eternity to recover, and the armies all flee to the same place suffering attrition and I cannot disperse it for a long long time.
4. I can't steal the sea map (even though I have a boat nearby).
5. Until 1450, there was no option for maritime exploration other than circumnavigation.
Joke aside, I yearn for the day where we have our entire solar system as a mod list for EU4
