Does this mod not work anymore? Rally point seems to still exist.

i see. thanks for the information and for the mod bro
Zyme  [author] 6 May @ 11:50am
It's not possible because there is no modding support to do it.

i know it's been asked before but i didnt see a definitive answer: would it be possible to emulate CK2s system where levies are raised where they are actually being supplied from and then you have to manually gather them all at one point? it would really make larger empires a slow moving machine, spending time to actually gather their large armies, giving smaller opponents an opportunity to seige things down in the meantime or hunt down smaller detachments of the larger army before they coalesce

Updated the GUI files, should fix any problems.

Unfortunate that this is abandoned.

Can confirm what Philippefaux states, the MMA portraits are blacked out and it's impossible to increase or decrease them when using this mod
philippefaux 20 Nov, 2023 @ 11:50am
it is not possible to station regiments with the mod

I LIKE TO HAVE A VERY DEFENSIVE EMPIRE
Zyme  [author] 23 Oct, 2023 @ 12:03pm
Why? You can create tons of rally points and you can move them whenever you want. You need like at most 3.
MasterchiefJPH22 22 Oct, 2023 @ 9:47pm
I need MORE
Zyme  [author] 16 Oct, 2023 @ 12:26pm
The opposite is literally in the game by default.
MasterchiefJPH22 14 Oct, 2023 @ 5:31pm
i want this but the exact opposite
constantinople 24 Jul, 2023 @ 3:51am
Wait what..? Arent all levies spawning where they are contributed from..? And men at arms where you station them?
The Ferocious Fapper 22 May, 2023 @ 1:39pm
i like your idea, but without a way to automate supply gathering and therby prevent starvation. there would be way to much micro management and be tedious as fuck
Durond 7 Jul, 2022 @ 1:58pm
Cool idea but the problem is if someone sieges your capital then you can't raise any of your army which is unrealistic. imo a better version would be what ck2 does where all your troops gets raised in the province they are coming from. But thanks for the mod, it did make my campaign a bit more challenging and fun until I ran into the previously mentioned problem.
Zyme  [author] 11 May, 2022 @ 7:42am
Sadly not possible to move rally points with scripts, so this issue will not be fixed until Paradox adds support for it.
Yamoron 11 Mar, 2022 @ 6:16pm
I had a problem with this mod. The idea is really good I also think that it is far too easy to manage large empires. But I had the situation in which a peasant revolt happened directly on my capital's county. Result: I was stuck because I wasn't able to raise my units at all and I lose the war. I think the mod needs some adjustements. For exemple we could place the rally points only on our domain counties, or maybe just restaure the CK2 system in which the units raised with small groups in every domain counties and we have to assemble them. But great idea it is a point of the game that really deceived me.

So, I moved my capital but the rally point doesn't move...That's dissapointing
Book Of Thoth 8 Mar, 2022 @ 6:44am
I like this concept a lot and have been using this for a few weeks. But I still find myself moving the single rally point around to where I like. Could you make another mod which reverts back to CK2 rallying? I really miss it!
Zyme  [author] 16 Feb, 2022 @ 7:54am
@Stardust, not sure what you are trying to accomplish?
Stardust 16 Feb, 2022 @ 4:04am
Hi. I like the concept of this mod. Is it possible to make a mod that only disables the 'Raise all here' button? In my opinion this would be more realistic approach. What are your thoughts on this?
Zyme  [author] 5 Sep, 2021 @ 5:23pm
It is not possible to toggle the rally points feature because the GUI is deleted on game load.
Gopher 5 Sep, 2021 @ 4:52pm
The only issue I have found with this mod is that it makes single county Counts impossible if you get a surprise raid thrown at you. Have to save, turn off mod, and load back. Maybe add in a way to toggle the rally points lock? Or is there one and I am just dumb?
Zyme  [author] 5 Sep, 2021 @ 5:18am
Load last in load order if you are using other mods at the same time.
J 5 Sep, 2021 @ 3:26am
still have points
J 3 Sep, 2021 @ 9:34pm
like most things ck2 was just better
J 3 Sep, 2021 @ 9:34pm
based fell
SK_Duke_Machiavelli 3 Sep, 2021 @ 5:21pm
More immersive to rally your troops manually like everyone did in ck2
SK_Duke_Machiavelli 3 Sep, 2021 @ 5:21pm
Rally points suck in ck3
Sabnack 29 Aug, 2021 @ 6:47pm
Finally.
kgptzac 27 Aug, 2021 @ 12:22am
From purely a balance perspective I'd rather have a mod that let AI make use of rally points similar how players do, ie, raise troops near the target area.
Zyme  [author] 26 Aug, 2021 @ 8:59am
The AI can still use rally points which it will if you raid them. But they raise their armies in the capital as they do in vanilla. You have one rally point which is your capital.
ajacksonian 26 Aug, 2021 @ 3:13am
I liked the CK II system of having to gather armies together as it made sense that the levies from vassals would start in their home territory and need to march to where they were needed, and you could set up counties to be the place where they would rally after marching there. The rally point way in CKIII just doesn't do it for me.
Chuckawookie 25 Aug, 2021 @ 9:25pm
While I agree with the purpose of this mod I don't see why I can't just make my one rally point my capital and call it a day. I still have to check and see if AI really does always start at their capital but if so then yeah I will just do that also.
Philemon 25 Aug, 2021 @ 7:27pm
interesting and ill probably use it
Gilgamesh 25 Aug, 2021 @ 12:36pm
I have always found the rally point system unrealistic, so I'm glad there's a mod out there that removes the current broken system
Zyme  [author] 25 Aug, 2021 @ 8:18am
This is true. They only use rally points when you raid them, but not in wars like the player does etc. Updated the description.
RepealThe19th 25 Aug, 2021 @ 8:15am
Wait, the AI doesn't use ANY sort of rally point???
I could swear that the AI gathered troops almost next to me while I was raiding at least 3 times that I remember.
