It would be cool if we could have a colonist duel as the ritual to decide who leader titles go to. Do you think that's possible?

Would it be possible to get a version of Equivalent Exchange that allows for sacrificing a prisoner? Maybe make it to where they need to believe in the same Ideology, low chance of success, maybe on lower chance the pawn revives but with some skill loss? I'm sure there are a bunch of options that would lower how OP such an addition would be.

@⎛⎝RubbelDieKatz⎠⎞ I have that happen as well but with the vanilla gladiator duel. It probably has more to do with how it's set up in vanilla or how RH2 handles targeting

I noticed some other things. Apparently the issue goes away when I disable the auto-casting option for said roundhouse kicks. Additionally, after a few more hours, they seem to be fine even with auto-casting enabled. :lunar2019deadpanpig:

Second: Maybe there's an error cleaning up their jobs or something. I don't personally use that mod, so I cannot really tell you anything certain on this one.

My colonist duel finished a few hours ago, but every time the two contestants pass each other, one of them gets a roundhouse kick from RH2 Hand-To-Hand in the face. Any clue why that could be happening? :lunar2019piginablanket:

@yeet 20% tend quality in the early to mid game can be quite game changing if you lack proper medicine. It's the difference between someone dying of plague or an infection. It also makes your pawns heal way slower.

I believe it's on par with things like "Pain is virtue".

Is necrolatry supposed to remove all "my X died" mood debuffs? It seems really powerful to me, even with the -20% to tend quality.
I guess like cutting the normal debuffs to half the penalty would make sense while also being balanced.

@Bunny You cannot attach extra outcome to these rituals, as they already have pretty powerful (if not balance breaking) effects. This holds especially true to the colonist duel, as you would be able to roll for an special outcome every day.

after unsibscribing the game suddenly complained about the mod missing
again
but in the game the ritual results were still displayed correctly tho im not sure if they were actually from the mod because i dont remember what they were yesterday

no errors anywhere, when i opnened the game this morning i noticed a mod was missing, pressed the load mods from save button but it didnt get added, added it manually and then the load button on saves did nothing until i removed it

@kotamine I didn0t want people suddenly opnening their game with the other mod and realizing their game was broken because of the extra dependency. Also, the rituals here are probably unbalanced as hell, so I bet on most people not wanting to have them in their game.

It's the same reason why there isn't a big vanilla expanded mod, and there are multiple modules, you might not want everything at once, but only just a piece.

Also, if you seatch for it, the colonist duel has it's own mod still. Is the old version too if you fancied that more.

@Ashren If you start the other mod (precepts and memes) without having this installed the colonist duel will dissapear and you'll continue playing normally. If you use the colonist duel mod the nothing should happen.

This one uses the sames defs as the other so it'll repace it. You might need to use dev mode to regenerate the ritual in you ideo menu, but only that.

Wouldn't this conflict with the other colonist duel? I have one in my game and I can't figure out which adds it and if it'll conflict.

If you're taking suggestions: would you be willing to do a ritual that involves multiple combatants, instead of 1v1? Team battles or free-for-alls? Even allow them to be to the death to force combatants to kill until their team or they by themselves are the last one(s) standing? It's something I wish Vanilla Ideology itself had. It'd make punishing unruly slaves and prisoners much more fun.

just letting you know the +0.3 on funneled power might be very low, for reference the gunlink gives +3 to shooting, and a bionic leg gives +2.25 to doge chance
