this actually fits. On several HD newpapers and a mod i use. the events of half life 1 or the Black Mesa game I play takes place in 2001 around the month of May George W. Bush was alive and President. The idea of him instead of Breen being in charge makes sense and fits every mod I use that makes the combine armies and the rebels armies and the civialins look us military or your every day life person. accept in this timeline Geroge remains president for over 20 years. this also fits my idea of The USA and Canada being the only two nations not invaded by the Combine and the US military and the American people along with any other pre 7 hour war military and civilains that surived are all thats left.
