Very rarely does a map feel like an experience, but this one certainly does. Feels quite good. Very hard to pick a favorite part, at a certain point the banger sequences just keep coming. Like could I say my favorite part was a third of the map? Probably!

I took a bit at the end cause I misinterpreted the exit condition, once I figured out the correct one it came together nicely. Truly an exceptional map, faved!

Impressive map! Several cool maneuvers are packed in there, which also were surprisingly easy to execute because everything is just perfectly placed and aligned. Because of the extended glass portion in the button/faithplate combo area, I was able to spot I would need the track platform in this specific location in order to funnel there *relatively* quickly. I actually struggled more with the beginning moves, up until getting the laser cube in the exit area for the first time. Anyway, amazing work as usual!

Thanks for the comments! I considered the ghost cube move but did not see how to force it. I can understand the regret.

Also, I just played Dolphiner's map, and it's amazing how different the layout is here while still keeping all of the moves from the original. My only regret about this map is that a ghost cube move is never required; I think it would be needed for the sequence in 4:17-4:34, where the red cube is kind of idle, if you couldn't pass through the movable surface in that position, but since you need to pass through the surface later, I guess there's no good way to force it.

Very nice map! Ended up not being as hard as I thought; when I tried it the first time, I got stymied just trying to get the laser cube to the laser for the first time. While I was struggling with that, the rest of the design was very confusing (in a good way) - I could see a lot of potential moves, but didn't quite understand how any of them would get me anywhere. Once I got the laser cube there, I decided on intuition to leave the platform in the right place, and then just followed what seemed like the right sequence for a while. I got confused again at the end because I thought the goal was to get both cubes into the laser room and use the weighted one to climb to the exit, but once I realized the actual answer everything made sense. Nice use of some subtle changes in puzzle state. Thumbs up.

Wow! What a blast to solve this map. Great work! I can not believe how many "gotcha" moments you squeezed into this puzzle using such few elements. I really love how this super clean puzzle entertained me as long as all the full Portal 2 mods on Steam.
Thank you very much

Very nice puzzle! Solved forwards until the blue cube's first visit to the laser , and then proceeded backwards after spending much time properly defining the end condition up to the means by which the red cube could be preserved while transporting the blue cube to the laser once more , after which the rest of the steps cascaded smoothly - very satisfying. A bit surprised that the elements of the above-platform room were used so little.

Loved that, every sequence was well put together and the null portal move especially was really cool to see implemented as a sub-step :^)
Big thumbs up.

I would add that your first comment also contains a spoiler without a tag. I did not delete that comment as the spoiler is more vague, but IMO you should be more careful in that regard. If I were playing a map and happened to see a similar comment accidentally I would be fairly irked at the spoiler.
Libbybapa  [author] 16 Oct, 2021 @ 4:22pm
SSF I deleted your second comment as it was a spoiler of some of the logic. No, I don't see any reason to do what you suggested and it would actually hurt the design/puzzle to do so. The point to my puzzles is not to lead the player by the hand through each of the steps. That would be inane and contrary to the purpose of the puzzle. It is logically clear if you take the time to think it through. It would be unkind to eliminate that for the player. It is a puzzle game after all. If you were 'misled' then you misled yourself.

Testing, testing... um, "is this intended"? ;-) Nevermind, here's my feedback :steammocking:
I played Touchdown before. I knew a Libbybapa remake would push me to the limit again.
It took some time to find a beginning. The middle part didn't make it any easier ^^ The end moves were very satisfying and weren't as bumpy as the previous hours ;-)
I like the design of the map in many aspects, e.g. the tiny spot unter the laser cube dropper, the visibility given by the glass areas and especially the monitoring screen which is used twice in a meaningful way, and last but not least how all the elements and portal surfaces complete each other when it comes to all the entanglements. A lot of clever moves - awesome! ( the null portal, the reuse of the track platform,... and of course the sacrifices )
I appreciate the hints in the beginning which ensure that the player does not miss anything.

Thumbs up and a fav!

I loved that a lot! The beginning and the end took me the longest to decipher, but most of the puzzle went very smoothly. All of the small puzzle state progressions were very cool to see; luckily I didn't have to think about them much as I instead tried to find the move that made sense to do next without regard for its consequences which ended up working out :P . Great stuff :D

As always with Libby excellent map!! much trickier than i first thought . :steamhappy: faved i hope that explanation on how i finished was right.
Libbybapa  [author] 29 Aug, 2021 @ 8:20pm
Yup, that's all intended although I would mention that there is no need to shoot the portal at 2:30 in the second vid. You can reach the cube in the funnel without even jumping. Nothing wrong with doing it the way you did it, though. Great job solving it!
