Ttek armor does nothing more then regular one, it only has better starting stats. And about engrams I need to find out - it should be possible by overriding in ini file.

should be, but for now metal one is paintable, and tek one is paintable only in my devkit. Once I have time I'l ltry to find out why

Not only can you do the blueprint thing as mentioned below me. You can augment the defense higher in the augment station (I got mine to 135 before it maxed out)

I found a workaround for those who want to use Upgrade Station. Copy the GFI codes above of the blueprint you want, but instead of "1 0 0" at the end, put "1 1 1"... that will give you a Blueprint instead of a built armor, and it will be *ramshackle*. Once it's ramshackle, the Blueprinting Station will process it, and each new build will be stronger based on your crafting skill. It's not perfect, but it works.

Great Mod! Looks fantastic! I got Wyvern Armor to work with Kraken's Better Dino valyrian reins by putting Wyvern Armor after KBD in the mod priority list. Now I have a choice between valyrian reins or wyvern armor. Thanks for this mod stachu!

Looks amazing, love it! But please make them completely paintable ASAP and it would be SO incredible awesome if you could (maybe) create saddles for most likely every dino that did not have a saddle. Like imagine Direwolf steel saddle or a Reaper Tek saddle, or maybe even a Phoenix Tek saddle that let the phoenix actually land, or a cyber ferox saddle that continuously feeds the ferox element. Or actually why not make a Griffin armor? Maybe even a Dinopithecus saddle, that directly launches grenades . Also this could be interesting in PvP if the saddle BP's could be deactivated in the game INI. so OP saddles for PvP can be deactivated and PvE players can still have fun with OP saddles. Really looking forward to it! If you add some community wishes im 100% that mod WILL show up in community crunches. Just the idea is really good and there are no good saddle mods anyway at the moment, so this mod will blow up quickly. Keep up the good work matey!

@jcmeyer5 - probably, I don't know how upgrade station mod works. From games point of view this saddle is rather something like gliding suit, than a saddle.

@KuroYure - nice idea, but i probably would not add tek ability, at list for a while. As for metal version, I plan to at list paint already existing belts to look more like hide, but i'll think about adding more hide anyway.

@stachu9974 that is a fair point, altough i should say, it definetely needs a special ability, it is a tek saddle afterall, since most tek saddles are offensive, the wyvern one could be defensive, or use those giant tek blades on the wings to do a mid air wingslash attack, i realize im asking a bit much and you are probably not an animator, im just realy passionate about that stuff, anyways, regarding the metal armor, it could use a bit more editing to keep it apart from the tek version, perhaps adding bits of leather to make it reminiscent of flak

If I have time, I'd try to fix meshes (Wyvern- Armor connection) , but I probably would not add the plasma gun, as i feel that it would be a bit too much as wyverns have there build in range attacks.

@stachu9974 there are a lot of meshes that go into the wyvern, or parts of the body that poke through the armor, could you try adressing that + adding a function for the tek armor? most of them have a plasma gun bit, same as the tek wyvern saddle in the dev kit (but its floating under the wyvern because it was never finished) perhaps you could add that in

@Fire&Blood yeap, I use an i5 9400f along 32GB Ram, even like this the PC cries a lot. I've rised my virtual memory to 30GB and it helped a lot, but doesn't make miracles.

@Fire&Blood -I'd work on settings, but i haven't play with them yet, so it might take a while. About modding - I agree with Izanagi, also try making some simple mod - like you thought of some little think that might make your life a little easier in ark, or would just look cool. Important think to mention - ARK Editor weights a lot and work really slow - for me it sometimes lags for 10 min just to load some of its build in assets.

Do you think you could add to the ini settings to be able to change the custom tag? That'd be awesome if you could. I want to learn to make mods, but haven't just yet, and don't really know how to start, so I don't know if that is something you can do.

I know mod creators get a TON of these question, but how does one even start to lean to make mods?

@fire&blood - it's all about 'custom tag' -in there mod its probably 'Ancient Wyvern' - as they write in description "Name Tag=Ancient Wyvern". Its a way, that game links saddles, and equipment to creatures - so you can't use Wyvern Bone Costume on Yeraboa. In normal Wyvern this tag is just 'Wyvern'. Probably the best way to work this out would be to either put down this requirement (but it might end up with wyvern armor on yanki) or create another mod with a tag specified as Ancient Wyvern. Or you could find (in this mod) file PrimaIitemWyvernSaddle (and ..TekWyvernSaddle) - find there world Wyvern and change it to Ancient Wyvern,or AncientWyvern(it is there solo just twice - but I don't know which one - one is probably for skeleton).But I'm not sure if it'll work properly.

It doesn't work with the Ancient Wyverns and Dragons mod. I should have figured. Nothing for wyverns works for them, for some reason. They must have had to code them to be a completely different creature. Oh well. Looks really cool, though, and if I ever decide to go back to Elder Dinos wyverns, I'll give this a shot. I just can't stand their typical "missile" fire, as opposed to the Ancient Wyverns' actual dragon-like, straight-line fire.... plus their agility, being able to fly backwards and strafe. One might say they're a tiny bit OP. :P I only play single player anyway.
