Feel free to let me know if you figure something out!
i'm going to have to see what mod is doing that then because i have a lot of mods. I think it might be the zRe Armor Repair mod then because that adds a armor repair system in the crafting menu that let's you fix up body armor which may be causing issues with the clothing side of it. If not then it could be the Tailoring Fix mod
Everything from ashe's set that I could rip apart, I could also learn and craft.
Those, that I couldn't rip apart, obviously I couldn't learn either.
Do you get any error messages or similar when attempting to learn them?
It could be that another mod might cause issues there.
With Brita i tested it with the Ashe (from overwatch) outfit set while with the Stalker Pack the Rookie Jackets which are just Leather Jackets with a little Bullet Resist
Yes, lots of modders dislike reuploads, some mostly because of conflicts (mods with same modID, which afaik should be solved with the (whenever) upcoming update to the game, which'll include workshop id to loading mods.
You're definitely free to reupload this mod as you see fit if you so desire (ideally change modID to avoid conflicts)
Aside of that, slight headsup, this mod's terribly written, meaning pretty unclean and unclear, so apologies for the bad start into PZ modding.
Are there specific items you could name (especially brita's for now) to know which I should check/lookout for when testing a tad later?
Also, if you have any questions about any part of my mod, feel free to let me know (since steam's not that great at sharing code stuff, you can hit me up on Discord if you'd like: "Shurutsue")
To my understanding you have it setup to where as long as it has the correct tag it will work but, the Stalker armor/outfit mod and Brita's armor/outfit mod seems to have them setup differently. I have only ever missed with Fallout 4 Edit to create patches and not any mods on Steam. I know some coding but, on Steam Modders at times outright say no re-uploads and and their mods to mod packs which is apart of the reason why i haven't tried it yet
Do you know if they utilize the vanilla behaviour for it, or a custom one?
Might take a look in around half an hour, thanks for any additional info!
@SDGamer You're right that it's highly unlikely for me to update it and that I'm fairly inactive - but regardless, what are the issues with the two mods? Considering the mods in question have "Armor" in the name, I assume that the additions of said mods aren't able to be ripped/cut apart, in which case it is "intentional" to not be craftable with this mod alone.
The idea of this mod is to make everything you can "rip apart" to be craftable.
If, for some reason, it's not working as intended, feel free to reach out again, while I won't promise an update/fix, I may still take a look at it.
As for anyone who may wish to modify this mod for their own needs, or update it:
Everyone's free to modify and reupload this mod as they see fit, albeit, sorry for it being written quite dirty.
Have a nice day everyone
Gracias por el mod, me encanta.
Did a quick test run - with just this mod enabled.
It seems to work (under these circumstances)
Currently still not actively playing PZ, however, feel free to hit me up on discord (Shurutsue) with, ideally a short description on where it fails and a log.
Additionally, the info on whether or not the issues arise in single- or multiplayer (or both), I'd be willing to take a look to see what might be the potential problem.
please update. mod is legit
I want increase this number from 10% to 30%
@David Hogins, at the time i made the mod, i felt it was alright balance wise, considering the increased "protection" of these. The mod's relatively small, so if you want to tweak the balance of it to your liking, feel free to do so! (And anyone else, for that matter)
@Sen'val haven't played PZ in quite a while, so I'll sadly not be able to help troubleshoot it until I do get into PZ again.
@Saint JimmyI did added to an existing game and had no problems, I reloaded the game once without playing for everything to set down, and used "mod manager server" to ensure it loads in the proper order... works great with TailorFix even with over a hundred mods that I have in my MP tough.
@Indigena84 not entirely sure how i'd go about that, considering it's the crafting part which automatically sets it in there.
As for the second part, the vest probably isn't scripted with any material for natural repair, hence it's not possible to fix either - the idea of this mod here was to provide a way to "craft" clothing based on it's repairability, not based on what clothing the base-game or mods contain, meaning if it's written to be repairable, it should be craftable and i probably won't return for a while to make a mod which makes other modded clothing repairable - though you could request the original mod author of the other mod to add the ability to repair it - which in turn should make it craftable with this one.
In this regard to anyone interested in modifying this mod, i do not mind them reuploading a modified version of this to suit their own needs.
@Sereina If they provide them the default tailoring way, then you should be able to in theory. Not entirely sure if it were to use custom materials though, been a while.
per chance get a patch? it adds a denim vest as its only added item, and it feels akward not being able to repair/make it
as it is: make any clothes you want with a suture needle but patching them requires a needle.
how it should be: Patch holes with a suture needle, need a real needle to make brand new clothes... Idea: and a leather working needle to add leather patching.
If you by chance use multiplayer with that mod, i currently did not have the chance yet to test it there, or rather, since the update with multiplayer.
Will take a short look into singleplayer later today (if i remember), if not feel free to annoy me a little over on discord for a more active reply (currently have steam off quite a bit): Shurutsue#0987
