Greetings,
Alligator
Good luck to you for the future
I would like to apologize for my long absence. Regarding private reasons, it is currently not possible for me to continue my mods due to time constraints. I've always enjoyed it and I'll miss it! I hope for your understanding....
But there is a very good solution which you can continue playing the mods ;)
I am happy to inform you that "sq_paradox" will continue the MOD "Device Energy Management" and "Device Maintenance". Please support him in his work ;)
There will be more news soon when and how the MOD's will be released.
I would like to thank you all for the good cooperation and wish you "good hunting".
Greetings,
Alligator
At the same time I was using a mod called “Quiet mode” and it was a game breaker. Since I deleted it I have no more problems. It no longer says "noise repair" even after several repairs in the same mission and without having to reload the save. The crew is also more responsive than before.
I hope I helped other people.
Good hunt !
If so, this can be very dangerous in later years of the war (e.g. due to aircraft).
It would be better if the submarine could at least continue to travel at short speeds during maintenance rather than being completely stopped.
I'm making this post because I'm facing a rather annoying problem. Indeed, at the time of each repair, it says "repair noise" in the detection icon on the right of the screen.
The problem is that after each repair, this repair noise remains and emits noise. If several devices need to be repaired, the repair noises will accumulate and generate more and more noise.
I found myself at 100Db in silent mode at the bottom of the water without the mechanics repairing anything :D The only solution I found was to save and load this same save so that it disappears. However, on the next repair, it comes back and it still remains and I have to save/load again to correct the problem.
I cleared the cache, temp and datasheet but nothing changes. It's very frustrating because it breaks the rhythm and wastes time. Is there an alternative solution?
The added column are colored as Light Blue.
Please add localization for my fellow sailors!

The maintenance button is gray and cannot be pressed. Is this intentional?
Also maintenance only appears after something breaks
Nothing like the motor breaking down after shadowing a convoy for over a day, missing the attack window causing massive frustration.
Alligator you are a star for providing these mods.
-I get the maintenance as a popup, check the part, click on maintenance with an engineer selected, and then the part suddenly goes to 1 HP and becomes repairable? I didn't think this was the way it was supposed to work? I had thought clicking maintenance itself would make the engineer go do it? Even then, this seems to be more of a hassle than repair as repair happens automatically without needing your attention popup, the only difference seeming to be the cost of spare parts?
-Wish it was possible for regular sailors to be able to take care of maintenance tasks automatically
-The Sporadic failure frequency seems OK
you mean the function in the MOD "Device Energy Management".
I understand, let me see to find a good solution for this function on optional ;)
Greetings,
Alligator
- Compatible with UBoat version B131
This version is also compatible with older UBoat versions B129 and B130.
If you discover bugs, please report them in the "Bugs and suggestions" section.
Many Thanks.
Good hunting,
Alligator
thanks for your support.
I will update the MOD for the new version B131 in the next few days
I wish you a merry christmas!
Alligator
With the crew management you can set who should carry out the repair/maintenance work automatically. For example, I solved it so that the chief engineer does not do the repairs automatically but only manually ;)
Greetings,
Alligator
MOD should be compatible with version B130.
I will test this completely and make another info and MOD adjustment if this is necessary (like Launcher "outdated" textmessage).
Greetings,
Alligator
There is no refrigerator in this MOD "Device Maintenance". You probably mean the MOD "Device Energy Management". If you want to deactivate the MOD, I recommend you to do this in the port and switch off all devices of the MOD. Then save and remove mod. This should solve the problem.
Greetings,
Alligator
- Small adaptation to hard mode
- New message if a device is only slightly damaged
Greetings,
Alligator
- Version is no longer displayed as "outdated" in the launcher
- Hard mode added as an option. Please read the MOD description point "Hard Mode"
Greetings,
Alligator
