hello, iam trying to find a tutorial for a half life alyx to replace a character like you did. how do you do that replacement? i would apreciate when you share information about replacing the grunt. i found the valve template for a generic_actor replacement. i was able to add the combine_grunt.vdml from the eagle one development to the generic_actor. at the moment the generic actor look like a grunt and seem to have animations. but the generic_actor grunt dont have any AI behavior like attacking the player. i thought i need to add a script like in the example. its called "follow_player.lua" . when i add this script the generic_actor follow me with correct animations. thx in advance.

it works for the combine soldiers gun but it doesn't work for the skin
