@BoraBora - depends on - if you not unlock all tile with 81 Tiles 2 but decide to play with normal buying, this mod is still relevant
the vanilla game lets players purchase 9 out of the 25 tiles in the center in the map, so that's what the game will show in the map editor. This mod doesn't affect that at all, but there are mods that players can use to purchase more tiles. Those don't show in the map editor though. Likewise, the total map size is *always* 81 tiles large, I'm not aware of any mod that changes that.
That is what you're saying?
This mod only affects how terrain is rendered, not the buildable area. For that, you'll need the 81 tiles mod: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=576327847&searchtext=81tiles
Read the description of that mod before using it! I believe it's also recommended to unlock all tiles immediately when using that mod to avoid issues later on.
If you're referring to the map editor, the overlaid outlines of the tiles will only show the 25 tiles that are unlockable in vanilla. However, if you select the Square81 preset from the dropdown, this mod does work outside of that. If you want to check, try e.g. using a clipping network (from the workshop). Those don't work in the map editor without this mod.
If this doesn't help, feel free to contact me on the discord linked above. I'll likely need logs from you; you can find info on how to find those in the #troubleshooting channel.
With the Common Ground mod enabled, all what i build in the Map Editor
looks like a game. AWESOME!
Thank you soooooooooooooooo much!
