Ive done a bunch of testing with only this mod and UIOD and have determined that the science districts only appear for regular empires and megacorps but don't appear for gestalt hive minds or gestalt machine intelligence. I tried multiple empires of all types with different origins, civics and ethics. I assume there has been a change with the Gestalt Consciousness ethic at some point that that has broken this mod for them

Also, not every deposit enables planetary science districts, so check your deposits.

Just tested with only this mod and UIOD, planetside district shows up when you colonize the planet.

@nightmare it might be a mod conflict. Do you have other mods adding districts or altering districts in any way? My last half a dozen starts with this active the districts show on the district side of the planet view though I haven’t built any yet as I’m playing doomsday and can’t find any that are in matching type. Because Earth has its set deposits and none add research districts, no research districts on Earth.

using it by itself and with UI overhaul the planetary features/deposits are spawning and are adding extra standard districts but the science districts weren't spawning despite the features saying they add planetary science

It's updated, now it should work on 3.1.* unless Paradox changes more stuff regarding deposits.

It seems that the Lem version fixed a typo in is_for_colonizeable into is_for_colonizable, and as expected this will inadvertently break many mods with deposits, including this one. Will upload an update that is 3.1 friendly sometime in the weekend.

My guess is that the planet doesn't have the needed deposits from this mod, if it is, it should have the small boxes like the other districts.

I have a couple of those on one planet and still unable to build. As far as I can tell should be no reason I can't build, just won't allow me to click build.

The science districts can only be built if there's any of these deposits in your planet (the thing below the blockers in your planet view, as in the screenshots):

Crystal Flowers
Black Dust
Geysers
Meteor Fields
Moss Pearls
Chromatic Lands
Azotic Exotics
Geothermal Pit
Mutant Marsh
Lava Chimneys
Lava Geyser
Botanical Garden
Earth Tower
Mychordia
Life Tree
Spiral Rock Peel
Stasis Pillar
Wizard Stone
Earthspine
Dragon Tree

If you have these deposits in your planet, you should be able to build the district.

Hmmm having an issue of not being able to build the science district. the build buttons won't allow selection. The tool tip that comes up that says something about has no deposits and the other about no thrall worlds or something. One must be true but both always are and can't figure out what to do to remove deposits. Not even sure what deposits it's referring too if I'm honest. It's not blockers as there all removed. I'm using UI overhaul dynamic.. is that a problem?
