Nice Mod! really glad to find this in the workshop, but in my community looks kind of difficult to some players to use even the ACE, even less other mods. And the idea is too cool to not be done for vanilla stuff.

Is it possibly to ask for a vanilla version with no need for other mods? Like a rope deployed from any helicopter by the pilot and the option to attatch themselfs to the rope for infantry nearby?

Sry if i'm asking to simplify something very complex but i'm just asking so i can have an idea, i just don't have the knowledge.

I encountered some issues like cutting ropes when deployed and explosions when ropes hit the ground if the chopper is used by players but I do not have the same issues if an AI is piloting the chopper.

Possible to update this to work with SOG helicopters? At the moment it give an error and the rope/harness just falls to the ground from the helicopter.

the items show as boats in zeus and cause explosions to occur when in the ground. if you could figure out a way to fix you not sitting in the ground when you attach to it. this would be awesome

Tutorial doesn't explain much. are there ropes that i need to put in the helos inventory? A module that needs to be linked? Whats the functionality to get this to work.

From what I can recall, it was like someone had lobbed an armful of grenades out of the Black Hawk's interior. The heli never blew up, it was a series of individual explosions that would occur at ground level after using the ace action to drop the rig. I just tried to recreate it and it didn't happen this time. I'll give it a shot with a couple of the other helicopters I use regularly and see if it happens again. Possibly a conflict with something I had in my mod list that's been removed now.

First, pretty awesome mod. I encountered a strange bug while testing, wanted to report. After deploying the rig, several explosions went off consistently. It would kill my character if I was right under the bird, but staying further back I could survive the odd behavior and use the mod as intended. No idea what I'm running is causing it.

1° If I start on the ground and I'm not in any group I can't do a personal interaction in ace and I have this message:

2° If I am in the IA group and use the "IA detach" function in the HLO, I end up on the HLO windshield (as if it detached me from my seat).

Small question, we tested with 1 AI that works very well to attach it but we can not unhook it.Do you think it is possible to add an interaction to be able to unhook the person who is attached when we are not far?

@Cav, it does work with player pilots. TakeOff above 5m AGL and no ropes should be attachted to the heli. Thanks.

It does run. The pilot should coordinate with ground element via radio, be cause the way its made, the ground guy is the who will deploy the spie system.

Does this work well with player pilots? I know you mentioned best with Simplex Support, but does it run well without .
