It SHOULD be.

Since its just png textures and an XML

Is this 1.4 compatible?

@Gernico
My final tip would be to remove the mod and check if the original missing eye texture appears without it. If that doesn't work move my mod to the end of the modlist and try again. If none of these gives any results then you'd have to search your modlist for anything that might be messing with wound textures

So I used a few dev mod commands and I've worked out the following:
- The bionic eye generates textures
- The advanced bionic eye doesn't generate textures
- The archotech eye generates textures
- And of course no eye generates the base game eye texture added by ideology.

@Gernico
Test the other prosthetic eyes to see if they still generate textures. This is definitely caused by another mod.
Gernico 5 Oct, 2021 @ 8:19am
Nope, Nothing like that.

@Gernico
Do you have any mods installed that remove wound rendering by any chance?
Gernico 5 Oct, 2021 @ 7:28am
Am I the only one this doesn't work for? Is there somewhere specific it should go in the load order?

I agree with CrackaJack that this mod would be really cool as a prosthetic/cosmetic mod, that way the mod will be able to work in Blindsight playthroughs while also keeping the eyepatch graphic as an option.

Perhaps you could tie it in with EPOE's eyepatch prosthetic? If not then you can go with CrackaJack's suggestion of making it a new prosthetic.

@Oughie
on a technical level, it should be as long as that mod doesn't remove wound rendering
on a graphical level, probably not, since that mod might have textures where the eyes are placed too far to the side to be covered by the eyepatch

Is this compatible with the beauty and ugly mod?
CitizenKanye  [author] 5 Sep, 2021 @ 1:16pm
Update: scaled up the textures so that the eyepatch straps can cover more of the face
CrackaJack 5 Sep, 2021 @ 6:07am
cool!
CitizenKanye  [author] 5 Sep, 2021 @ 5:02am
@CrackaJack
Not a bad idea at all. I'll consider it
CrackaJack 5 Sep, 2021 @ 4:07am
it´d probably be ez for you, right?
CrackaJack 5 Sep, 2021 @ 3:51am
it´d be nice to have the option to cover up stitched eyes, instead of replacing them. it could be a prostetic with no benefit but beeing less ugly, with no needed medical skill to install, and have those eyepatch textures- that way you could have both in your game without having to have an eyepatch clothing item

@Paolini
Answering both your comment here and the one on the other mod: The mod that removes the health rendering uses a coded assembly, which means that patching it is completely beyond my abilities
Paolini 4 Sep, 2021 @ 12:17pm
Is there a way to make this work along https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2558442803 ? (it removes the new heatlh rendering)
CitizenKanye  [author] 3 Sep, 2021 @ 11:18pm
@ProfZelonka
on second thought, I think eyepatches would be impossible to add as apparel considering how apparel layers work in vanilla right now.
CitizenKanye  [author] 3 Sep, 2021 @ 10:51pm
@ProfZelonka
I wanted an eyepatch that was just cosmetic. Your idea isn't bad to consider though.
ProfZelonka 3 Sep, 2021 @ 5:45pm
Wait, wouldn't it be a better idea to just have the eyepatch an item they can wear, that way if you *want* a village of double-eyepatch pirates, you can make it their ideology clothing?
ProfZelonka 3 Sep, 2021 @ 5:41pm
Noice
Nianor 3 Sep, 2021 @ 5:25pm
...Damn you, now I want to run a village of double-eyepatch pirates.
Lugaru 3 Sep, 2021 @ 4:49pm
Was just thinking about this, and yours came out great.
