Although yeah pumpkin pied may have had a traced pumpkin, it is the only paint of such liking in that case. Also pumpkin pied ended up getting in a pink tier, so not too sure if that is a good example regarding tiers and quality. We had a good selection of merc and restricted skins while quality made. Hellraised, death deluxe and portal plastered make good examples. Although I do understand that you want to focus on merc grade paints, thats allg nothing has to be "God Tier", but if you are openly diminishing your quality its good to consider that you don't have to lower quality standards to produce merc grade level war paints.
Organically hellraised
Leopard printed
Merc Stained
Mannana Peeled
Bomber Soul
Damascus and mahogany, just to name a few
now if you look at Gadget, he made a traced pie warpaint a month before helloween and it got accepted.
by making a high quality warpaint, I lessen my chances of getting a item in because the higher the tier, less the chances because where mercenary grade can have up to 7 to 12 items, where the other 3 tiers, only 1 - 2 items can be accepted per tier up, lucky to have 3
Wow, congratulations. You owned a sparkly version of a weapon. It sure must feel so good to spam non-stop garbage war paints just in the hopes that Valve accepts them and then you can jerk off your ego so much you'll start a fire with it. Your endeavor and constant spam in the workshop is messing over all the actual good war paint creators with your trash just so you can earn sparkly weapon, but it's okay because "Valve accepts garbage so it'll get in.". You are a greedy wannabe leech on the workshop. Stop making skins.
People who take part in the work shop wants quality and proper ethical acts on a warpaint which makes up probably less then 10% of the entire TF2 community and most likely don't buy warpaints or TF2 items at all.
The rest of the TF2 community are "oooh! new warpaint, me buy 2.49 key, me need starlight serenity because bright colors"
It's basically like winning a one of a kind car that got pulled out of landfill.
No one is impressed by that
I can show it to everyone I know because nobody knows that this little pocket in steam exist, what shown and seen here is basically nothing and will have no impact on me after I come and leave because my community and fame give zero smackers about what I do here, all they care about is what next TF2 lootbox coming out, crap or not, excited to see if I get a item in or not, where I get 2 - 3 "your warpaint is shit" comments here, i get 20 - 35 "I love that warpaint, how do I buy it?" live in a telegram/or discord chat.
Come on.
Watch him close comments any minute now
Regardless, I am very disappointed in you.
"You can allocate a portion of Valve's split of the sales revenue with pre-approved third party organizations or individuals that have helped you create this item. You'll be asked to pick from a list of organizations and individuals, and then determine how you wish to split up this revenue between them. This is recommended, but optional."
Also quit lying about an advertising button, the best we got is a link button that shares your content across other sites, but does not affect the cut Valve gives you, that would be pointless, due to the large volume of content shared, having Valve take a cut every time you share something would just end up losing them money since most content wouldn't be accepted.
also here something you non-creators don't know, there is a "advertisment" button that lets me link my warpaints to facebook, twitter, youtube etc etc, the big trade off is that i have to give up 5 - 10% of my warpaint's revenue.
so meaning, base on the workshop Valve encourages boosting.
