To give an update on progress,
I am able now to remove the shroud entirely while the fog of war remains.

However, at the moment that also reveals all factions to diplomacy but I will see if I can fix that.

i like the orange sky makes you feel like you are in a vase

It is possible but sadly not trivial :steamhappy:
I will see what I can do.

Absolutely wonderful mod! I have this one constantly on but I play with the mythological campaign a lot, if there is any way could you make a version of this sky with the gods from the battles looking down on us in the campaign map? I just think that would be a very epic way to incorporate a version of this into the mythological campaign and make it sort of mimic the vanilla campaign background

I totally agree that the shroud is hurting the scenery, however, while I would like to change the shroud texture, its not as trivial, since it seems not to be part of the -to us- available files.
Adding clouds to the shroud I had at first but the horizon, especially on water wouldn't look as nice.

I might try to just change the color/brightness of the shroud to mimic the distant "clouds" (dark blue) but not sure I will like the result, especially when you get closer.

Fog of War is still parchment coloured though. You have to make it cloudy like Civ 5/Rome II in order for these new visuals to actually work

Yep Thx vm you gave us so many options to find the right setting for our campaigns :-)

Nice work, I dig this more 'realistic' skyline, even for mythological mode :lunar2019grinningpig:
