Any plan to update Gun Tab+ and Apparel Tab+ to 1.4?
It's time to summon our savior. @Mlie

Clicking a weapon no longer brings up the detailed info panel.
shane_357 19 Jan, 2022 @ 1:05am
Minor request - could we get a 'pin' thing that puts a certain weapon at the top of the list and keeps it there even through searches for other things? Would make it much easier to compare stuff.
Lord Maelstrom 24 Dec, 2021 @ 11:37am
why can't gun tab just hyperlink to the weapon so I can see more detailed and accurate stats?
Xylem 10 Oct, 2021 @ 12:26am
Love this mod!

One thing I noticed: the "DPS Ranged" column appears to show damage per shot, and not actual DPS (Damage Per Second). This could pretty easily be updated with the actual DPS formula, as explained here in the wiki:

https://rimworldwiki.com/wiki/Damage_per_Second

This would make Gun Tab even more useful!

@Slyxen

There’re several mods that allow you to search what you currently have, not only weapons—check out InventoryTab (or the continued version by Mlie, I haven’t played with any of them on 1.3, but apparently, Mlie’s version offers more features and is generally more stable, so see the mod’s description), List Everything or RimSearch.
Cybranian  [author] 25 Sep, 2021 @ 5:39pm
@Slyxen

There is another mod for this. It is from another author and only shows the weapons on the map.
Slyxen 25 Sep, 2021 @ 3:06pm
@DimonSever000

Is there a way to filter only weapons I currently have? Would be faster for those times when I want to compare only what I currently own.
Cybranian  [author] 17 Sep, 2021 @ 7:42am
@Hate me

I don't promise to do support for calibers, but saving the settings is a good idea.
Hate me 17 Sep, 2021 @ 7:20am
Could you add caliber tooltip for CE instead of accuracy? Also disabling default sort options, or saving them somehow will be a nice improvement.
Cybranian  [author] 16 Sep, 2021 @ 7:12am
@⨀ヮ⨀

It's a good idea, I'll figure out how to do it.
Hcup 16 Sep, 2021 @ 6:25am
Can there is a pin button that put one on top to allow better stat comparison thanks!
Cybranian  [author] 13 Sep, 2021 @ 6:52am
@Fistandantillus7

The mod you are showing only displays weapons on the map.
Fistandantillus7 13 Sep, 2021 @ 3:04am
Looks very similar to WeaponStats
Cybranian  [author] 12 Sep, 2021 @ 4:41pm
I guess I can't add support for materials. This is related to the technical part.
Cybranian  [author] 12 Sep, 2021 @ 4:40pm
@cawphee.black

Note that filters work from left to right. If you want to sort only by 1 parameter, then turn off other filters.
cawphee.black 12 Sep, 2021 @ 10:26am
nice idea and good results and yes I think it is nicer than having to go into dev mode to generate a table which I didn't even know you could do until I saw that post... so this is still very useful to most people.

Definitely a nice idea regardless... this looks nicer than the dev mode table now that I've tried it and doesn't have a cheaty feeling to it either

can you add the ability see what the weapons are like when made with different materials or of different qualities?

Also the sorting doesn't seem to really work for me

Last would be a simpler filter on just ranged vs melee
The "category" and "level of tech" filters don't really help that much I don't think. Since so many of the items have weird values for those. At one point I really just wanted to be able to see just melee or just ranged and couldn't

Cybranian  [author] 12 Sep, 2021 @ 5:15am
@Anon

In my mod there are filters and the ability to sort by several parameters. Moreover, only defnames, but no labels can be seen in developer mode.
Anon 12 Sep, 2021 @ 5:09am
Your tool is less convenient because it doesn't show everything. As a developer your job is to know these things, since the debug menu is explicitly designed for developers. And as a player you ought to look for them too.
Cybranian  [author] 12 Sep, 2021 @ 4:53am
@Anon

This is an extremely inconvenient tool. As a developer, I didn't know about this feature, what to say about ordinary players.
Cybranian  [author] 12 Sep, 2021 @ 4:49am
@Kenpachi

The problem is that there must be some kind of bridging mod, for example a kernel. I gave up on the Core mod.
Anon 12 Sep, 2021 @ 4:18am
You can already access all this info an more in the core game by going into dev mode > dev logging > weapons, and get a table with every item. This mod offers less info than that.
Kenpachi 12 Sep, 2021 @ 3:35am
i'm not a coder but can't you maybe make 1 button that is the same for everyone of your mods but when you put gun+ it patch it so after you click on the bottoms panel you have diffenrent tab with gun+, apparel etc something like in the vanilla history tab ? Like i said i'm not a modder is juste and idea maybe is hard to make just wanted to help. just ignore if it's a dumb idea thanks for your work and the mods you did :)
Cybranian  [author] 12 Sep, 2021 @ 2:59am
@ludi1989

I thought about this at the stage of creating the mod, but so far I thought that it is rather difficult to implement, however, I do not exclude the possibility of adding it in the future.
ludi1989 12 Sep, 2021 @ 2:41am
@DimonSever000 Same question goes to apparel tab I😊
ludi1989 12 Sep, 2021 @ 2:40am
@DimonSever000 yet another suggestion (sorry for that because I see, that you already have a lot of them!)

Is there any possibility to add to the tab a field wher additional weapon stats can be presented? Eg.: weapons from Rimsenal like "smart weapons" have reduced aiming time and increased precision by some %s; Rimmu-Nation² axes and machetes have 50-85% increased plant working speed, etc.

Would be great if one can see those stats right away in your tab ;)
Cybranian  [author] 11 Sep, 2021 @ 6:24pm
@Kenpachi

Lol, I think I need to figure out a new place to put these buttons, otherwise the bottom panel will end.
Kenpachi 11 Sep, 2021 @ 12:09pm
Nice mods man now i just need the same for material to know wich one i need to construct/or craft if i want something particular.
Cybranian  [author] 11 Sep, 2021 @ 3:18am
@Robostove

Ok, it will be in the next update.
Robostove 11 Sep, 2021 @ 3:15am
Showing mod origin like in the Apparel Tab mod would be great. Thanks for the mod, very handy!
CaffeineAlice 11 Sep, 2021 @ 2:59am
damn awesome. thank you for this.
obsidian29 9 Sep, 2021 @ 5:17pm
Wow, this is awesome. Optimization and efficiency is important to me, I often pick the weapon or tool best for something if I can, and this will help a lot. Gonna use next time I start RimWorld. Thanks!
Luden 9 Sep, 2021 @ 2:37pm
**** not exact same thing in the literal sense, but I mean in terms of what I installed the mod (weapons tab) to do - just to compare the different weapon stats :)
Luden 9 Sep, 2021 @ 2:36pm
I already have the mod weapons tab, and this seems to achieve the exact same thing - but I gotta say, the UI looks much cleaner and more crisp here, and the sheer insane speed of that bug fix made me convert XD
Learnign 8 Sep, 2021 @ 7:24pm
Damn that was fast!
Cybranian  [author] 8 Sep, 2021 @ 6:56pm
@Sick Ducker

I fixed it. Please update the mod and try again.
Learnign 8 Sep, 2021 @ 6:39pm
This tab is unusable for me as opening it tanks my framerate so hard but I think its only because of the number of weapons added by multiple mods and not the fault of this mod itself.
Wolfentanyl 8 Sep, 2021 @ 4:52pm
We need mod like this but for psycast. Its annoying how you have to either visit the psycast mod page or scroll through the storage list to find out what psycast actually do especially when you have dozen of psycast mod downloaded.

Anyway thanks for this mod, looking weapon stats one by one is painfully long
Cybranian  [author] 8 Sep, 2021 @ 4:43pm
@PremierVader

My mod does not affect performance, as it is only active when the corresponding menu is opened. Also, you can see absolutely all weapons. As far as I remember, in the mod that you threw off, you can only evaluate the weapons on the map.
Cybranian  [author] 8 Sep, 2021 @ 4:41pm
@Haekel

You can sort it by category. That is, a ranged or melee weapon. There is no more precise filter on this score.
J 8 Sep, 2021 @ 9:55am
@PremierVader

WeaponStats lists items that are on the current map only, and this mod is an in-game weapon database.
PremierVader 8 Sep, 2021 @ 9:24am
Hello very nice mod! Other than the obvious better looking UI are there any other differences between this mod and the old Weapon Stats mod? What about any effect on performance? Would like to know thanks!
Heres the link to the other mod if you want to compare:
