I can confirm that the 7-chapter legacy campaign (fable) also works for 1.14.

I can confirm that at least the legacy 3-chapter and 5-chapter (fable) work for 1.14. It looks like the mod still works with 1.14, but if you are having any issues, just make sure that the mod is enabled in both the menu and in the game you start.

5-chapter fable campaign crashes immediately after final battle (and before it's possible to save). Workaround: I was able to complete the campaign after disabling this mod.

Doubt this still being worked on, but regardless: during a seven chapter legacy fable campaign the game keeps crashing when I finish chapter four; specifically it crashes when trying to pick the events that happened during the years of peace.

opaj, or anyone else, can you help me figure out how to edit the years of peace? I tried to edit the years of peace in the default 5 chapter & legacy 5 chapter files. At first I entered 5-10 years (because I wanted a range) and I didn't get an error, but after playing I still got "11 years of peace." So then I changed it to 5 years, but when finishing the chapter still got "11 years of peace." What am I doing wrong?

I'm not sure if i have a mod conflict but as of this week this mod isn't working for me with my mod set up idk what the mod conflict could be though.

I noticed the The Three Chapter Legacy Fable appears to be bugged and give a Five Chapter Legacy Fable

I have to host a multiplayer game go to new game and the list shows. I just cancel after stop hosting and play normally.

It still works, but you have to jump through a hoop.

1. Start a new game and select one of the few available options.
2. Quit that game
3. Start a new game and voila, there are all the other options added by this mod

@Carthradge and anybody who doesn't know you can enable your default mods in the options (mods) which should allow you to see the additional campaigns as well as fix any issues with missing faces or textures from mods being "disabled" after a game if you enable them in the settings. Can't guarantee that that will fix it but it should.

Still working for me. I occasionally have to start a "normal" game with this mod active, quit it to go back to the main menu, then the additional campaigns appear. I've not tried opening up My Legacy and back to New Story -- will try that as well.

at first i could find the new SEVEN CHAPTER Campaigns then i tried hosting a game and that's where I found it I can only access it when I'm hosting a game.

if the campaigns aren't showing up in the New Story menu, first open up My Legacy then go back to New Story
this works for me pretty consistently (thanks to /u/LiquidChicagoTed on reddit)

Fixed the issue by moving all files manually into my Wildermyth/mods folder. Not sure what is going on.

This mod seems to have stopped working as of 5 March with update 1.6. Variants can no longer be accessed, just the vanilla 3-chapter and 5-chapter campaigns.

I have run into a small bug and I dunno if it is vanilla or from this mod. I run a 7 chapter legacy fable campaign and my seed is: 685319190648669585

The problem is that one tile has two towns on it on the world map. It is not something big and the game seems to run as normal.

Still wanted to point it out if one day a problem occures.

@edhannigan3 Maybe, but that would be beyond my current skill level with the modding toolkit. It'd have to involve some creative scripting to work around how the game is currently designed.

brotherrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! I love your mod, I love your work, I love youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu, but it's a big bummer that there's no way to make this mod and the "5 hero lines up" mod work together. is there any chance we can even have a version which allows us to set up 5 heroes at the start of the game?

In the files for the mod you want to modify (base game campaigns are saved as mods in mods/builtIn), go to assets\data\plots and find the file with a name that's just the ID of the campaign.

For example, from this mod, the file for the five chapter saga campaign is "C_long_fiveChapters_v3.json". In that file, look for the code blocks that begin:

"class": "StepC_DoInterval",

There's one of these in between each chapter. If it's not already there, you can add a variable "overrideYearsOfPeace" here and set it to the number of years you want between those chapters.

You can also modify years of peace in the in-game editor, but I don't recall precisely where in the editor you have to look for that--I did most of these modifications in the files directly.

This is almost certainly going to be the default "Random Campaign" option for me going forward. Where in the games files do you go to change the Years of Peace? I want to experiment with it myself.

This mod just added so much longevity to the game for me and I already consider it a must have after just one 7 chapter fable, I absolutely love it. Well done!
