I made the Goodyear blimp in Emp, but for the landing gear, I found the exact center of mass and used a single 'foot'. I would have done that on the Highwind, for luls.

Yeah, these huge builds takes a lot out of ya. Especially when it's an honour-replica

For the interior in Empyrion, I was going to make the cockpit as a small ship that's attached to the big ship hull with landing struts, then put the catwalk on one wall, with the rooms on the other, above the engine. I did make a Chocobo hovercraft though :)

about Ragnarok: I pass...

Jolan, you made the right questions!!! ding ding ding! I had to improvise to make it a functional ship, but maintaining the original feeling!

also, the interior is too big for its Gondola size! Just watch the internal space proportions to the characters, and watch the cgi after leaving the north crater. Outside, the ships seem smaller than the inside!

I had to think on all these details you spoke of!

FANTASTIC! I'm a big fan of FFVII also. I try to make the Highwind in whatever builder I'm playing, but at least I won't have to here :). I am very curious to see how you arranged the interior as the original map doesn't line up with the rooms. For instance, the catwalk is directly above the engine, but topside doesn't leave enough space for the meeting and Chocobo rooms. Also how they got the Chocobos on and off i it doesn't 'land'.

@Milk Im a huge FF fan. It was a tough decision which airship I would build! I was between FFVI Blackjck / Falcon and FFVII Highwind.

This is great! I wasn't expecting content from Final Fantasy this early into the game since I don't think that many people play.

I've never played the game, but I do like it.

amazing!!! i've only just started finding all the details and its already given some great ideas, the main engine and propellers are just feasts of detail... i love how you've built authentically steampunk looking hinges onto the mechanisms, the whole thing is just :chefskiss: , i'll be coming back to this for inspiration many times i'm sure!!

FINALLY! The moment I've been waiting for for months, and I do not regret a single second of waiting! I didn't expect all the moving parts and the frickin high quality of this thing! I haven't even downloaded it, but I do know my mind will be blown by this awesome creation!
I saw this on a post that it's on the workshop. I got so excited I put down my phone and immediately upvoted it and gave it the highest reward, which you definitely deserve! The compliments I've just given aren't enough to describe the awesomeness of this craft!
Sadly I was at school when this creation came out, which I would've definitely skipped school for.
