how do we turn on the battery array? It feels like the ship is running directly off of the reactor.

Still one of the best ships I've ever played, it's so beautiful. I don't play with ~5+ people on average so this smaller ship is such a godsend, and it has a good layout to boot unlike most ships. The only thing I don't like are how much free stuff this ship comes with but that's easily configurable.

Perfect ship for our group of 3, haven't noticed any major problems. Lots of features and I really like the layout. Reactor is kinda slow, ending up switching the controller for a bang-bang (regex/greater), even though it's less efficient I haven't noticed as much power loss.

Hi. There seems to be a bot pathfinding issue when trying to assign gunners to the top and bottom guns. I've included a drive link.

Apart from that I really like your designs. Especially all your little technical innovations. This boat feels a bit OP thought, especially when compared to other stock boats in the same price bracket. It simply gets boring when you are able to outrun most creatures without even having to upgrade the boat. I'd either recommend that you make your boats more expensive (by ALOT!) , or possible downgrade them somewhat. BTW I generally feel that all your boats are too cheaply priced.

That being said I thing you are doing some great work. Keep it up mister !

Because backup suits are a thing?

The number of suits doesn't indicate a recommended amount of crew. This ship is small. Anymore than 5 crew members will make the ship crowded as heck.

The autopilot doesn't work properly with the mod, does it? For me, my submarine runs very often against it.

it may not defend well on the bottom. but. if you are worried about fighting. try going 32km/h.. they defitinely wont keep up with you

Correction: we moved to The Plague Rat from the another vessel with vanilla default id card tags (idcard, id_captain, id_security and etc.)

I was looking at the reactor controller, and noticed a component I didn't understand. In the upper right reactor controller memory component, what is the significance of the value 75 in the Plague Rat 1.0.9? I understand the rest of it, and it's actually similar to my own custom controller, but I'm guessing your 75 value has to do with the fuel_out node being used and I'm just kind of curious as to how. I've tried messing with it, but none of the significant constants I've found seemed related to it. Was it just a trial and error value you found useful or calculated from something else? I love the straightforward and efficient fission rate control. Thanks!

@geicosuave it is a bug and is already fixed by developer. Also I added a secondary protecting circuit to prevent it from any kind of overheating upon docking.

I wish sub makers put the maximum depth (with/without upgrades) on subs.

no complaints about the sub though she's fantastic.
also I know its a lot of effort to make these subs but do you think you could make a deep-diver variation? if you haven't already that is.

Great little sub, though definitely not balanced for campaign. Would be nice if there was a campaign-balanced version priced appropriately, or with the more advanced things locked behind upgrades, but I'm still fairly new to the game so I don't know if that's doable. Also, very minor complaint -- the engine in the engine room doesn't look like an engine, but I'm guessing that's because it's so compact you had to fit the loader in there. But aside from my little complaints, I can see why everyone likes this sub!

This is a nice sub, however one potentially fatal flaw is that if the engine room is flooded but nothing above it is flooded, you can't get out via the stairs. We had to plasma cut our way into the ballast and use the ladder to get out

Nah, the default setup's motion sensor is to close the door when there's no one near the doors.

Hey I am not sure if this is just me but I am just found out that the door is set up to be a auto door but they don't seem to work, I tried using some different auto and that seem to not work as well

@R4d6 All pumps are correctly connected, functioning and blessed by Omnissiah. Rewiring any of them may cause known or unknown trouble throughout your sail.

So I just found out that the pumps on the Plague Rat are incorrectly wired, so they don't actually pump the water out when there's water.

Just moving the blue wire of the water detector from 'Water %' output to the other one made them work correctly.

i am impressed. though 2 coil guns were enough for it as a scount sub. the chain and the rail gun made it as a light attack submarine
other than that everything seems to be in place and well put. really impressed with the design
