Well, looks like it breaks cause I just got a pirate falling through the middle of my base roof and a message saying 'uh oh, the chance for this should be 0'

The values should all be 0.0. But it's not guaranteed the mod uses exactly the same system and that it will therefore work. Feel free to join the discord and we can see if we can make it work.

Is here a way to make it work on VFE Insectoids infested chunk cras and infested module crash aswell? for raiders and mechanoids it work great for me.

The fact that raiders can just blow through the roof of your base like they're god damn helldivers is the absolute worst thing about Rimworld. This mod is mandatory

I haven't tried mixing up the load order. That being said, I haven't had a single drop raid since both switching them off in Rim War's mod options and implementing that workaround, so it looks like the issue's sorted for the time being. I'll give you a shout if anything changes.

Update: turns out the mod options for Rim War have an option to disable drop pod raids. Given that's almost certainly caused the conflict that's triggered the weirdness I've described, could be worth mentioning a soft incompatibility with that mod.

Thanks for the prompt response! I do have Rim War installed, so it may well be related to that in some way. In the meantime, I've set up a workaround that sets the minimum tech level for drop raids to "archotech", so theoretically it shouldn't trigger at all now. I'll let you know how that works out.

If the odds are 0% and a center drop is still generated some other factor must be at play. Maybe it's event driven or some mod causes it. This only prevents the storyteller from using center drop raids

Mod isn't working correctly at all. Centre drop raids still happen, even as it drops just one guy. Checked CenterDrop in the output and it's set at 0.0 (acknowledged as much by the event letter itself). I'll try and snipe a log next time it happens.

@shiyuan I am curious to know how you deterime the one person showing up was really supposed to be a center drop aid? If what you're saying it correct, technically that would mean that instead of a center drop raid you'd only get one raider

A minor issue with this mod: when you call aid from outlander faction or the empire, there's a chance that they drop on top of you (essentially the same as an enemy center drop raid), and when that happens only one person would show up instead of the usual number.

Thank you for sharing your mod. I was about the quit playing this game because of how unfair it is when raiders bypass all of your defenses and land right in the middle of your base and execute whoever is unlucky enough to be infront of them because there is not even enough time to seek cover.

@The Village Guy, both mods work. 100% perfectly even with each other/separate. The crashing into the mountain also still could happen in SUPER rare cases but it doesn't after I cleared out some of the mountain when tested with the dev menu.

As that's a different raid strategy there's not much I can do about that. At least it will only be part of the raid on your roof, I guess

They literally just drop podded all over the map with a scattered drop and it collapsed roof on my base...Keep that in mind they can still do that raid.

Can you please update this to 1.4? You're missing out on the newly added Biotech stuff (Mechanoid raids) that falls under this and that other mods may reference/use. Here is the updated Def. [pastebin.com] Just add this to a new 1.4\Defs folder Thanks for the great idea! :rshout:

@The Village Guy Putting the mod at the bottom right above rocketman seems to have somewhat fix it. I still get center raids very infrequently but its much less than before.

Pretty sure i found the culprit. Vanilla Factions Expanded - Mechanoids seems to ignore this mod and drops raids in the middle of the map regardless. Every raid I've had that is in the middle of the map has always been the mechanoid faction from that mod.

To check if the mod is working:

Enable developer mode

Start a dev quicktest

Set difficulty to Randy -> custom ->500% raid strenght.

Go to the dev menu, -> output, -> raid strategy sampled -> pick any

The displayed CenterDrop row should read 0% on all columns. If not, something is making this mod not work properly, or it's not loaded.

Mod appears to not be working anymore. Had a mechanoid raid drop right in the middle of the map where my base was. Could possibly be a mod conflicting with it but unsure what it would be as i have no mods apart from "Sometimes Raids Go Wrong" that directly adjusts raids.

thank god I'm not the only one who got pissed off at this, really dumb how they can just go straight through a mountain into any part of your colony nomatter what basically forcing you to put turrets EVERYWHERE.

After installing it haven't had any human raids at all anymore. Only mechanoids and infestations.
