So... it's been over 2 years, and there's more races now, including AgentKirin's Limako, that aren't supported by this mod. I mean, you could technically update this mod in particular to add support for the new races... or make a universal patch mod that uses some additional functions from OpenStarbound to have this mod work for any race no matter how vague, recent, or old they are. Just want to bring this up because I was testing this mod in the pack I'm working on.

Does this mod allow you to choose between conventional and capsule ships on character creation, or does it simply replace ships with capsules entirely?

Likely as a reupload once I have things finished and working, Should ideally have all the support this version does, plus some that I've seen requests for that aren't added yet.

@Dym0niter Been on/off working on the new version of this, the woggle issue SHOULD be fixed (mod was trying to call for objects that didn't exist, oops)
If there's any other known issues I'll gladly look at them while I'm at this

If they weren't supported at all you'd just load in with a vanilla ship?
What sounds more likely is a sloppy ctrl+h job by the dev or something about Erchius Crystal Module is fucking up somewhere.

@64 well, yes. it's because woggles don't seem to be supported by this mod (yet). which is why i mentioned it.

specifically, it seems to break when trying to place the broken FTL hatch, but can't find the version it's supposed to use with the Woggle race

If I had to guess it's probably trying to generate an object that doesn't exist (or more likely isn't named right)
You'll get a more proper answer in your starbound.log file though

the game sais "client shipworld has errored" and boots me back to the main menu when playing as a Woggle. other races work fine

Although I'm sure that bk3000's Hull Plating Blocks and More - revived is compatible for the most part, I just wanted to know:

Are the important ship related items (captain's chair, ship teleporter, fuel hatch) from Hull Plating Blocks and More compatible with your mod?

Hi I'm one of the authors of the DreadBound modpack and I was wanting to let you know that the wasphive and pikachu race code is now giving the error "Client ship world has errored" which means the universe.server.config and the universe.server.config.patch codes no longer match or the coding was done incorrectly which means that it crashes as soon as I make a character and try to launch in game with that character. The races' codes no longer tell you where you should go so it makes these races unusable in any way.

I'm getting a "Client shipworld has errored" crash when starting a game as a Peglaci from "Peglaci Rebirth"

Latest log says something about "No such object named 'peglacifuelhatchoff'"

Hi, I'm trying to patch in compatibility for my custom race that I'm working on, but I don't know why it's not working out the box like with the Fenerox race mod. I tried the whole thing with the .shipworld file, but to no avail. Is there something in your mod that I failed to look at? I'm trying to see if there's anything in my mod that's overriding your mod.

Then, it can't be helped, but you can temporarily unsubscribe from this mode (register it as your favorite) and make the maximum level of the ship in the race and subscribe (it doesn't affect the ship that has already been made).

the slime race has a bug. the logs say [16:52:34.552] [Error] UniverseServer: exception caught: (ObjectException) No such object named 'slimepersoncaptainschair'
so I went and unpacked the slime mod and I think that maybe the issue is the object is named slimepersoncaptainchair, no s between captain and chair? I'm no modder though so I could be wrong lol
