I even updated the icon, but without the original graphics you used for the texture atlas it was too much effort to try and extract those and put it on the armored walls so I'm leaving that to you assuming you have them.
Right now they will use the same texture as in 1.3 when placed (the reinforced embrasure from vfe spacer).
What happened to the Reinforced Walls from VFE Spacer?
<coversFloor>true</coversFloor>
@Neothardus an embrasure does not seem to divide rooms. Building a square of embrasures and putting a roof on it, I'm still told it is "outdoors."
I mean, if I install one between two separated rooms, are they still counted as two rooms, or considered as merged into one by the game?
Did some testing and it looks like it can be a flammable floor beneath the wall catching fire, even though the embrasure is 0% flammable. To replicate, build a stone embrasure on top of wooden floors. You may notice that the embrasure is not losing health despite visually appearing to be on fire. It looks like there is a special floor type called "Underwall" that prevents this from happening with Walls.
I'll try to figure out if there's a fix for this. I would assume that this couldn't happen since the Embrasure Def is coded to inherit all its properties from the Wall, except for those that had to be changed. <coversFloor> is still set true.
If you want to add it just place it as Languages/German/DefInjected/ThingDef/Buildings_Structure.xml in the mods folder.
Thanks for your work!
Yes, they don't separate rooms. They work with Breachable Embrasures which exploits this effect.
@Anon: "Nah, mate. I do what I want."
@Scorpio: "REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE."
Childish is being an dumb little kid that begs the grown ups to do what you can't, even if that is some elementary xml code.
reinforced embrasures can be patched to work with Vanilla Furniture Expanded - Architect reinforced walls too thanks in advance
Again, thanks for sharing :)
No sorry, I am simply sharing mods that I make for myself. The feedback I get is a bonus that lets me improve them for my own play too. It's selfish but I don't have time or the interest to do more than that.
You can let me know what you think needs changing, otherwise just make a local copy of this mod and edit it yourself.
