Also my favorite items are often single class. I feel like it gives the characters more individuality. :)
I do understand the complaint though, my favourite items are definitely single class ones. That's why I try to make a few of both (single, all, sometimes multi-class items) whenever I feel like an update may be coming up.
As for the suggestion to make it multi-class instead of all-class, my thinking is always: If it's for more than 5 classes, the restriction starts to feels very arbitrary.
Because of items like the Dead of Night, sunglasses and moustache items, you can usually make a decent loadout for any class.
I like to try and give players the most amount of options possible. After all, they can simply choose not to wear it on the other classes.
