@DesertOfAngmar Not likely any time soon, I haven't mucked about with RimWorld in an age. However if Mlie wants to update it and maintain it (and my other mods) unless and until I pick them up again, my permission is given.

@shadowDragon8685 I have the the lightsabers continued loaded before the patch so Its really wierd. Im going to unistall the lightsaber mod and reinstall it.

@Darth Muffin: Okay, for some reason, it's not finding Fully Functional Lightsabers (Continued). Why that is, I don't know, and I haven't touched RimWorld in an age. For personal reasons, I have no intention of doing so anytime in the foreseeable future either.

That shouldn't actually prevent you from using either this mod or fully functional lightsabers though; if it isn't able to patch FFL, then all that will mean is that Lightsaber-related crafting will take place on benches other than the Star Wars-flavored one added by Star Wars Factions.

Wait, are you loading Fully-Functional Lightsabers before or after Star Wars Factions? Try swapping that load order around, try making sure that the weapons patch loads after both of them.

If you're using the original by Jecrell, it will not work right.

I keep getting an error saying it is failing to patch star wars fully functioning lightsabers.

@tommyhadley: You installed Star Wars Factions (Continued), right?

If so, Star Wars Blasters will only show up with Star Wars factions. You'll get them off Rebels, Star Wars' Pirates, and Imperials. So if you're generating your world without those factions, the only source of these weapons will be if you tech-up and build them yourself.

Aschevacuum: they can, but it still takes a lot of doing. Mechanoids remain incredibly resistant to Heat damage. The DXR-6 will tear through them though, but beware: it's a short-ranged gun!

yep, got nightmares of seeing my dood trying to take a slight step out of cover to basically go pee and then be vaporized before i can say "whuaah??"

@people no brain no adays good: Did you ever play Jedi Outcast or Jedi Academy?

It IS terrifying. If anything, I drastically undersold the DXR-6 by making it shotgun range (in accordance with the book-lore) instead of sniper-rifle range (in accordance with the games).

@John: I have no idea why you're telling me that, as, as far as I know, even the base mod of Star Wars Factions does not support CE.

You shouldn't expect CE compatibility with any mod that adds any kind of weapons or armor, anyway, as CE goes into and jacks up a whole bunch of vanilla defs.

Anyway, even if this is a 'me' thing, I don't use CE, and have absolutely no intention of supporting CE.

Hey just wanted to let you know that the mods seems to conflict with CE with some of the guns such as a DC 15 where it will not shoot

The only thing I can think of is that you've got some kind of mod that's "Capturing" blueprints and trying to push them to lower-tech workbenches. Or maybe I'm totally wrong, but I don't have any idea what could be doing that, or why.

My load order is... extensive, lol. But this is fairly low and I can't think of anything that would interfere with that specifically. It is loaded after both of those mods, directly.

Bizarre. Load order? This would need to be loaded after Star Wars Factions and Fully-Functional Lightsabers, and after VFE Production if you have it installed. (I know, everything wants to be loaded after everything else, etc).

Try unsubscribing and resubscribing.

Hmm. I appear to still be getting the message that it's not found, and the lightsaber hilts show up in the smithy.

Athreon, if it's complaining about Fully-Functional Lightsabers not being installed and it is , then that's because I mangled some tags in the About file. I should have fixed them with the second upload.

If it's complaining about lightsabers not being installed and they're not , well, that shouldn't actually give you any issues since that function is behind some nested sections that should only fire if and only if FFL is installed.

Looks pretty interesting! I am getting an error on startup regarding this patch and Fully-functional Lightsabers (Continued), however. Not sure if it'll impact gameplay yet.

This mod has been whooping me for two days. I finally hammered it into a shape that I'm happy with. If anyone else is happy with it, hurrah!
