Even though I dont have this mod enabled. Im getting this error on the menu. Shared it on the thread discussing it.

not sure, but i feel the fruit is probably similar to the grass. one would have to have the nature focus and actually meditate at the tree. typically a tribal start gives that kind of focus.

played around with it a little, the fruit itself works fine but the plant doesn't grow in 1.5 anymore. I stays besides the tree at 1% for 3 years

doesn't seem to actually grow, it spawns but after a whole year, it was stuck at 3.1%

OKAY, IF THE MOD WON'T LOAD FOR YOU, I POSTED DIRECTIONS IN THE DISCUSSIONS FORUM.

Long story short, LoadFolders.xml has THREE errors in it, not one. It won't load for as long as the <li>Common</li> is in there. Besides fixing the missing ">", you need to change those <li>Common</li> to <li>1.3</li> and <li>1.4</li>

Okay I removed literally every single mod. My modlist is literallly Harmony, Core + DLC, HugsLib, AnimaFruit, XML Extensions. It's getting some error that doesn't seem to even track in the logs that stops EVERYTHING from loading. You can't do shit with this mod.

I've got pretty much every anima mod possible, but I've never seen the anima fruit. I think maybe once, a long time ago.

For some reason the mod doesn't seem to even be loading (yes I have the loadFolders fix). I get the error:

"Could not resolve cross-reference: No Verse.ThingDef named Plant_AnimaFruit found to give to RimWorld.CompProperties_SpawnSubplant RimWorld.CompProperties_SpawnSubplant
(Filename: C:\buildslave\unity\build\Runtime/Export/Debug/Debug.bindings.h Line: 39)" in logs.

And in debug mode, Plant_AnimaFruit doesn't even show up to spawn.

It's pretty far down my load order, too :(

Mod works just fine with the simple fix. apparently having a life outside of video games is triggering haha, thanks for the mod!

@Mango Pods he opened the folder (your harddrive wheres your game located, in his example E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\294100\2604028977\).
There you can find LoadFolders.xml.
Open it with a text editor and search for <li IfModActive="bustedbunny.AnimaFruit"AnimaFruit</li>
You exchance it against <li IfModActive="bustedbunny.AnimaFruit">AnimaFruit</li>
the difference is just a >

Found this error in the logs:

This is someone who has said: No, you can't have my art that I caused to be brought into being. You also cannot have their style, which they assembled.

This should be obvious to you, and you shouldn't need to keep going on about a no which is pretty clear. You are the one engaging in pointless behaviour trying to badger someone into giving up content.

Second, unless you are totally out of the loop, you are probably aware this mod has a development plan of its own, and there isn't really any need for a unified Anima Tree mod because this is RimWorld.

Finally, I assist with development with this mod and associated mods. So, no, you cannot have it.

My words are my own, and probably don't reflect those of the mod's creator.

False analogies unfortunately.
I get what you're trying to say, but it's simply a stupid argument.
I have a right to maintain control of this mod and it's artwork. I paid money for both the coding to be done, and the artwork to be made.
Essentially what you're saying is i should either be an asshole and restrict people from making a fruit that increases psychic sensitivity just because it's tangentially related to my own mod (which is stupid)
Or i should give away everything for free because 'why stop there?' (Which is also stupid.)

I dont care if people make anima fruit, i dont care if people make anima fruit that grows around the tree, i dont care if people make anima fruit that grows around the tree, gives psychic sensitivity, and makes animals gain psylinks.
I DO care if someone Takes Artwork from this mod or Directly Copies the code of this mod.

This has literally nothing to do with intelligence. It's just we have different epistemologies.

Yeh the red error typo in load folders is irritating but secondly whats the point of saying sure you can integrate it but you cant have my art work? that's like saying here's a taco but you cant have any cheese, or here's a burger but you cant have a bun, that has to be the stupidest thing I have ever read, You may of as well just said No you can't integrate it cause the ideas and mechanics are pointless if he has to redraw the art work <.<

This mod doesn't actually touch the anima tree at all. So it's probably compatible.

Sadly for the mods that are being made right now, i'll need to maintain control over these older mods for our plans to work. It's hardly abandoned, we just work slowly.

From a purely personal note, I'd love for both mods to be implemented into one. One less mod on the list to have as both mods are fantastic and have so much use and potential, particularly when combined with VE Psycasts! Either way i'll continue using both!

There's an expansion to this mod in the works regarding an animal alternative to Mechanitors. So, this mod will be updated eventually. But apparently it already works in 1.4, it just hasnt got the tag that says it does work.

You can do whatever you want with my ideas or mechanics, but i'd prefer if you didn't use the artwork in my mod if that's alright. :)

How would you guys feel if I integrated this with the other Anima Fruit mod? They already compliment each other fairly well. It might make sense to combine them.

If modding the game so that Anima Trees can be replanted, the Anima Fruit sapling goes on to grow to 100%, meaning you can manually make a giant farm.
